Over the years it seems to me that I have had many spiritual and paranormal experiences but they have never been like what the books describe. For example, day dreaming while looking out a moving bus or train window causes me to lose all sense of time and I am no longer aware of my physical body. I think this is a rather common experience and even has a name, "a brown study
But the Buddhist trance state where a person loses all sense of time and is no longer aware of their physical body is considered a high state of Samadhi! It's considered difficult to achieve. Are they the same? I think they are! I also think that many people are so caught up in the present moment of physical existence that they are almost trapped within it. I've always been a "dreamer".
I'll give another example. I've always wanted to astral project so that I could stand at the foot of my bed and see my physical body lying there like it says in all the books but I've never been able to. Yet I can project my awareness almost anywhere in the world and receive impressions. It took me a long time to understand but I finally realized that I am astral projecting but if my projected astral body gets anywhere within twenty feet of my physical body the power of attraction is so intense that I'm automatically pulled in! That's why I have never been able to stand at the foot of the bed and see myself!
I could go on and on about similar experiences where I've suddenly gained the insight that something I've accepted as common is really what people were talking about.
Here's another one. When I was younger I loved to play chess and gained the ability to see several moves ahead. The ability to see several moves ahead is the ability to see alternate timelines, futures and possible events. These are all valid paranormal experiences, but they are really pretty normal!
One Must Create The True Authentic Legitimate Astral Body...(20 Feet says to myself that it is not created in fullness however and maybe so that what one projects is the Lunar Body which all are Given at Birth) ..as to be able to pass the Guardian .....One knows when done as the shock is felt From Coccyx to Atlas as one touch the sun out of The Body and Enters a parallel Universe

Interesting what you suggest. I can only share my experience with out of body states and various astral bodies. Here are some interesting phenomenon that have happened at times, the ability to read words within dreams, the ability to pick up my dog Lucie and get her out of trouble, to hold things that have weight in the astral, the rare ability to smell scents and so on...
I have also astral projected out the crown chakra and the cord was like a rope over an inch thick! Most of the time I don't experience the astral cord but that time I did.
I found in one of my own experiences that being Guided in the flight of The falcon and being able to land flight was. as it seems until we can land our flight wwe will spin out of control and wake up..........something inDeed....you see one time as well i attempted to show a group of friends are demonstrate that i could float and as i Did this...i floated a bit and was accused of having magnets in my shoes and then was chased as the people wanted to get my shoes off......this is when i came back as the moment prepared.

This shows that you have many experiences to share which we all could learn from. I think that if people got together and really talked about some of these things we would understand our own experiences much better!
InDeeD..I Concur Thoughtfully in Truth. I see you Mentioned the Winter Solstice in another comment ...I prepare for the 7 day water fast in lead up to Such an event as I had done the prior year........It is a Magnificent Moment........Highly misunderstood not by fault of most people but by lack of Knowledge based off misguidance perpetuated as the centuries pass on. it is inDeeD a moment Of "Gnosis" in the Origins of such.

Consider joining us for a PYPT and sharing a post of yours. We'd like to see you grow.
I have written a post to share your featured post from last night. Just stopping back to let you know that you can see your name in lights right here. (Just kidding about the lights :)
Your profile was shared on Thursday’s Pimp Your Post Thursday @anarchistbanjo as a Steemizen showing potential but underappreciated.I find it interesting how each of us have certain experiences that are in many ways common, but because we interpret them in a slightly different manner, they are unique to us.
What I would love is to have a site where someone posts a thought or a theory, as you did, and then we can debate it - maybe growing our ideas, arguing different perspectives and conclusions. There should never be a right or wrong, just the adventure of crossing the horizon, where we can explore new levels.
Unfortunately that cannot happen here, as most posters are striving to gain rep so as to make money. It also seems true that once they have achieved what they wanted, they no longer have an interest or hunger for formulating new thoughts, in risking their beliefs in exploring other possibilities, just remaining intent in churning out whatever will keep the upvotes (and cash) coming.
It is the rare mind indeed who does not return to coccoon itself in the sterility of safety.
InDeed..When one is never trying to be Right one can then Never be Wrong...But the Comprehension comes on many Levels

I believe that what you suggest is possible and I intend to create such a forum! I just discovered these forums and want to create a forum for the type of discussion you are suggesting. But first I am in the process of a data dump on my own blog.
I agree with you that most posters might not be interested in discussion. I don't have much time for discussion either. All my life I've fought against that "what makes you think you have something to offer" or "why should I believe you?" mentality. There are so many individuals shouting out for attention that it is easy to get lost in the crowd. Everyone thinks their own material is the best! Chuckle.
My response is a large data dump of what I consider the core teachings of the western mystery traditions which I have accumulated over the years through personal experience. That data dump is simply to create a little space for myself and a bit of credibility. That will be finished by the winter solstice. Then and only then will I try creating a forum and I won't be posting much because it will be for others. My own material won't be in the forum either. The way I look at it is that I will have my say and then I can let others have their say.
Hello? Have you given up on this? I have had a few experiences of astral projection and also out of body experiences. Does anyone want to talk?
