Herlinda Augustin
True wisdom can arrive in many forms. It can be transmitted through words, actions, within the silence or a song.
The depth, or completeness of that wisdom is partially dependent upon our ability to be open, empty and present to that which is being revealed.
Here, the late Herlinda Augustin, who was an ayahuascero shaman of the Shipibo peoples of the Amazon rainforest, sings a traditional song (icaro) of blessing.
While listening, it may be of benefit to set an intention to listen deeply to the melody and take a few deeper breaths during the song and directly after it ends.
