I agree with most of this article except it does not mention that spiritual growth is a process and you change with each new cycle you experience. So in the end (and there is no end) you never really know where you will end up. The problem is people try to live according to New Age Gospels rather than allowing themselves to emerge, whether positive, negative or neutral. Allowing the process to happen without trying to control or name it.

The only thing I disagree with is that Capitalism at this stage of our evolution is in any way positive. It might have been initially with the advent of the Industrial Age. Now it is simply greed and exploitation. Socialist countries like Sweden are much happier places to live in. Making money for monies sake is pointless, unfortunately compassionate people tend to give it away...and capitalism has and is destroying the earth.

Also many traditions insist on a teacher because it is just too easy when you start growing spiritually to grow big fat spiritual egos instead of soft hearts.
