Do you have a husband or spouse who sometimes gets angry? How do you deal with this? In what manner should you respond to his emotion?
Pastor's wife, Debbie Chavez, speaks how to handle a husband's anger. She cites several Bible verses including Proverbs 12:16 Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult. She also quotes 1 Peter 3:7 and Col 3:19. Debbie's suggestion is if it is not a habit to be angry, wives should let it slide to some extend but offer a gentle warning. Anger may be caused by personal issues and has nothing to do with you. These issues may include stress, frustration, feeling inadequate, feeling disrespected. shame, unhealed father wounds. selfish desires.
An old friend of my once said to me to pick your fights very carefully in life. So true. When you are married you are one. When you are fighting with your spouse, you are fighting with yourself. Do you really want to? Take a moment and listen to this wise Biblical advice that Debbie offers us.
Thanks for listening. Feel free to comment. Upvote or resteem. - Troy
Another great way to handle any kind of conflict is to pray, this is a weapon which God has given to us. I think you raised a good topic, as a matter of fact a much needed one in today's society. Bless you.
Indeed prayer is necessary. Thanks . Blessings.
