Indeed people fail to understand and grasp the very notion that we were chosen to live one more day. Sadly so some people did not, some will not, but we were. Let us use that day to change the world, to enrich the lives of others, to merely leave the world a better place than how we entered it I say. For to squander life on meaningless pursuits yields us no victory but solely temporary happiness.
