Tossed topsy turvy by your mind? Here's an Insight that might help.

This week's insight from sitting in Silence for an hour:
Often, the body/heart/emotions is like a ship...the mind is like a big balloon tied to the ship swaying the ship randomly, all scattered by the winds of the mind....
So, often, the mind moves the body, quite literally. The mind thinks a funny thought: then the body laughs immediately in response. The mind thinks a sad thought: the lips droop down in sadness...tears might even flow too. The mind says, "Do this." The body does it. And so often, the thoughts are unconscious. We not only are slaves to the mind, we don't even know what it is!

Instead, settle into stillness, and let your body act as an anchor for your mind, mooring it down...

Allow your Attention, Focus and Awareness to rest in your sternum and belly.

Then there's a sort of...FLOW...a larger...Awareness...a natural deeper rhythm that moves us, move our hearts, moves our bodies...amazing manifestations happen when you're in this space but that's the icing on the cake. The cake is you becomings more YOU!
