Antarātma bhavet sakshi! Our inner self is the witness to our actions. The entire creation that we see consists of five elements. No place is devoid of these five elements. Our body also has these. Whatever work we do, we cannot do it without the knowledge of the Sun, moon etc. Because they are equal to the five elements; everything that we do will definitely be known to them. All of the five elements are like witnesses to all the actions you do. They are omnipresent. Your vibrations can be easily known. You cannot feel that you can commit sin easily just because no one is watching over you. The five elements are watching over you. Most importantly, your inner conscience is the biggest witness. This is everywhere and hence it is said to be the witness for everything.
There would be none who is unknown of Purnadharadasa. He was the devotee of Lord Panduranga. During his childhood, his teacher gave one banana each to all including Purandharadasa and he said them to eat it without letting anybody know about it. Purandharadasa also took the banana. All the students came back to the teacher and said that they all ate their respective bananas without anybody noticing them while they ate. But, Purandharadasa said that he could not find any secret spot. He disagreed with his friends’ statements. One lad said that he ate by spreading a blanket over him. Another said that he went inside a pot and ate the banana. Some other said that he went inside bathroom and ate it. These were the strange explanations that the students gave. One boy said that he went inside a river and ate it. Another said that he hid himself in grass and ate it. But, Purandharadasa did not eat anywhere. He simply came back to the teacher. He said, “How can I eat without anybody noticing me when the five elements are watching over me forever?” He understood the real principle (tattvam) and hence he could identify the inner self that acts as the witness. We may commit many sins sitting amidst four walls without the knowledge of anybody but there is always the inner witness that is the permanent witness.
During the month of Dhanurmasa, in every temple of Vishnu, prasadam was served. Many children used to come to the temple for that. One day, the priest was serving prasadam to all. One boy, out of excessive desire took it with one hand, hid it behind and once again went to take prasadam with another hand. The priest observed this and he did not give him prasadam. Meanwhile, a dog came from a nearby well and ate the prasadam that was in the boy’s hand. The boy finally could not even get prasadam. We must observe that without believing the self as the witness, anybody has to meet the same fate if one only deceives the inner self. The most important thing to remember is that the self and the five elements are the witnesses that observe everything. Hence, we must only take good resolutions and purify our thoughts, words and speech. The fickleness of the mind must be arrested. I hope that you all will understand the essence of this message.

JGD! In a beautiful Euro-Hindu mystical Enigma Music Album "The Cross of Changes" and song "The Cross of Changes", it says
"If you understand or if you don't
If you believe or if you doubt
There's a universal justice
And the eyes of truth
Are always watching you"
Perhaps my favourite music album in this life, enjoy the lyrics and awesome tunes, that accompanied my spiritual awareness since 1990:
