When I hear that spirituality is isolation, poverty or lack of tangible and very physical joy, I think this does not have to be true.
To me spirituality is allowing ourselves to listen to the truth of our heart and inner knowing, and respecting ourselves and our personal needs as we move forward in life. It is committing to follow the personal path of respect and dedication to the authentic self. It is being brave and devoted enough, to do the shadow work that allows to let go of whatโs not serving joy and fulfillment of the personal song.
To me, spirituality does not have to be a new box where everyone does the same things and aligns with a new set of rules of what being spiritual should look like.
Spirituality could simply be about being committed on the long run to heal ourselves and to take the responsibility of creating our own lives, as a canvas, based on what genuinely feels right.
Also what feels right does not have to be lonely, out of the world and powerless. Alignment doesnโt have to be scarcity. Peace of the heart doesnโt have to mean unability to become, or to function in the physical.
Instead, letโs see the bridges. Letโs reconcile the truth and the gifts, with personal empowerment, freedom and becoming, grounded in this very beautiful world.

thanks for sharing...
I fully agree with you...so often people confuse spirituality with religion or place their dogmatic principles in the way of true spirituality...the two, religion & spirituality, are not necessarily synonymous...
...Peace & Light...much Love...

It takes a major event(s)/turning point or Dark Night of the Soul for a person to realize the difference between spirituality and Religion.
Much love, light and blessings to you! ๐๐โจ
