The Unspeakable Process Of Awakening

in #spirituality7 years ago

When you first awaken, it can be so shocking, so profound, that trying to express it in words, is quite difficult. So we can only use the words that we already know, such as, love, oneness, bliss, divine, universe, god. However, there are many other symptoms of awakening, especially ones that follow awakening, that cannot be described in a way that others can relate to you. So if you try, people may think you are crazy, and judge you for things that they can’t possibly understand.

You might wake up one night to find your entire body is vibrating, it may feel like you’re going to dissolve into nothingness, evaporate into thin air. So you wake up the next morning having had this incredible experience in the night, possibly frightening, and you have no one to tell. So you’re stuck by yourself, having no idea what to make of it.

What is really happening, is you are becoming more and more aware, that you are not just a physical being. That you exist on multiple dimensional planes at the same time. So when you experience your entire body vibrating, what you are really experiencing, is two planes of reality at the same time. You’re consciously awake in the physical, and you’re consciously awake in an energetic state. The vast majority of us, cannot relate to this experience, and so any attempt to describe it, will fall on deaf ears. How do you describe what music sounds like to a deaf person? Or how fantastic your dinner tasted last night? Mere description never does it justice.

Other experiences may include, feeling your entire body spinning as if on a merry go round, or perhaps different parts of your body, spinning in different directions, as you become aware of each chakra at once. You may experience extreme temperatures that make you sweat, as energy swirls through your entire body. You may experience a strong magnetic pulling, or feel a connection with the earths magnetic field. Often you will probably get frightened by such experiences and pull back, as they can get incredibly strong. You may feel wind in a room that has no open windows or doors, or feel chills around your body. You may feel a presence in the room with you, perhaps one that engulfs you as you go to sleep, like a light blanket. You may see flashes of light in a dark room through closed eyes. You may wake up into sleep paralysis where you cannot move, but you are fully awake, and it may terrify you. Once you get past that fear, you may discover that you can leave the body and view the room you are in while your body remains asleep. Or work on healing techniques and feeling the love and bliss that you are, as you discover that you are an energetic being.

You may go through extreme emotional fluctuations from happy to depressed, sexual to non sexual, as your body adjusts to receiving more energy due to your awakening. Once you have awakened, you are able to control to some degree, what energy you want to receive, by putting that same energy out in to the universe. So the fluctuations occur, because you may have been sending out negative energy before, so those old thought patterns have to be released and you will experience that happening. Some take longer than others. So the real trick, is to be comfortable being uncomfortable, rather than falling back into the victim mindset. Allow the process to unfold as it is. The awakening itself, should have given you enough information, that you know that you are not your thoughts, so you do not have to be a victim of them any longer.

The awakening allows you to see your ego, to see it from a perspective that is not the ego, but rather as an awareness beyond the ego. Which enables you to identify what is ego and what is not. So as the process unfolds, and you are going through those extreme emotional changes, you should be able to recognize that the old identification of who you thought you were is simply falling away. The real you, begins to shine, you begin to feel better, as you let go of the old. The old identity becomes like a character in a book, rather than the reader of that book.

All of these energetic changes, especially for those that do not understand them, are unspeakable. They cannot be described in a logical way, and they cannot be understood by anyone who has not already had these experiences to some degree. What you must know, is that what you are going through, is an awakening process, and it is normal. You are not sick, you are not going mentally insane, there is nothing wrong with you.

The first thing that you may wish to do, while going through such a process, is run away from society to the mountains to live with the monks. This draw can be very powerful, as you have created an aversion to society due to the discovery that you were attached to society in ways you couldn’t comprehend. The awakening process breaks those chains. However, due to that breaking, it creates aversion. Which is no better than the attachment that was broken. Because what occurs, is a new ego, one in which, is afraid of everything. So the trick is find a balance. To not be attached or averted, to anything. To be comfortable being uncomfortable. Then you are at peace. Then you are free to choose the life you want to live, not from egoic desire, but from your intuition. You react different to all situations and people, you see ways to be more compassionate and kind and you have a sense of empathy. Which is not a burden, it can be used to understand others, so that you have the ability to help them, rather than share their suffering. You become the example they need, you share that love with them, and in turn you ignite hope in their hearts, which may just be enough for them to come into that same awakening process. The more you do this, the more people that will awaken, and suddenly the awakening process is not as unspeakable as it once wasawakening1.jpg
