The stages of awakening

Our spiritual journey. Which stage are you on? lets take the process of awakening with lots of humor.

Stage One - Preparation. Strengthening the Ego.

1.SEPARATION - Just trying to survive and thrive. "I am alone."
2.BELONGING - Wanting to fit in and be loved. "I'm part of a tribe."
3.SELFHOOD - Rebelling and making personal changes. "I want to be free."
4.COMMUNION - Shifting beliefs and finding compassion. "I accept myself and others."

Stage Two - The Adventure. Healing the Soul.

5.SOVEREIGNTY - Enjoying authenticity and success. "I am secure."
6.SEARCHING - Lost, in crisis, seeking meaning. "There must be more than this."
7.SURRENDER - Cultivating faith, seeking aid. "Not my will, but thy will be done."
8.HEALING - Embracing the shadow, healing karmic wounds. "I am whole."

Stage Three - The Return. Merging Soul with Spirit.

9.GUIDANCE - Opening intuition, finding Soul purpose. "I know my soul contract."
10.CO-CREATION - On purpose, serving. "I use my gifts for the highest good."
11.TRANSMUTATION - Mastering Laws and Forces. "I create multiple realities."
12.UNITY - Awakening, Enlightenment. "All is one. I am THAT.

Very curious group of terms and info. What does it mean? Or what can I learn from seeing it laid out in a process such as this?

hello mike, we humans need to understand the true nature of the universe. Meditation helps to shift from your mind into your heart and than you'll see everything more clearly through the eyes of compassion, love and unity. you are everything. the tree, the bee, the grass, your neighbour. its all connected. there is no separation. sometimes i can feel it more, sometimes i feel very isolated and alone. it depends on how much i am thinking and how much i actually feel with my heart without the mind intervening. its really hard to explain cause u need to experience it. its about remembering who you truely are. you are not your mind but u need to explore consciously the depth of it and of your feelings, the whole inner world, in order to understand. if you got time than read "the power of now" from eckhard tolle. it can be a really eye opening book.

I've read that one! I haven't been meditating so much lately. It's easy to get away from the self care thing you need when the pressure mounts.

I'll be sure to get back to those silent moments. Like the way you laid things out and looking forward to whats next. Thanks.
