Ah, this is interesting because my son lives in a meditation retreat and will continue to be there till he has a wife. :)
He says he needs no discipline there as he just follows their schedule and balances work from his laptop with his meditations.

Oh my god that's like cutting away from lot of things,but in a way it's nice. I am sure by staying there for a longer period all of this will become part of his life and it will be so effortless.
