Golem Overlord has been out for more than 2 weeks now. I honestly don't know how time passed by so fast. Everyday, every breathing moment, i am glued to my phone or computer when I am free. Why? Simply because the world of GO is constantly changing.
How can an idle game that takes less than 2 mins to play take so much of my time? The constant chatter on discord. The constant updates as GO is developed by @yixn creator of Splex.gg , a rental and management service on hive for splinterlands. The most addicting part must be just watching your golem drip parts all day long. The anxiety and fear of someone raiding your claimable stash.
I am not gonna go over game play or statistic or explain the best builds or tell you the maths involved. I will however tell you this. This is literally one of the hottest game on Hive. Hottest to the point where initially it costed 20 hive to join. Now it is a whooping 40hive!
If you are looking for ROI, good luck. This can or cannot be your game. The mechanisms put into place for Golem Overlord makes sure your account does not extract more than 25% of what you earned. What does this mean? You need to burn or stake enough $PART to earn maximum reward.
Total Burned + Staked/ Total Claim = 75% of better to claim 100% of the reward.
These past 2 weeks or more, i have slept maybe 4-8 hours with occasions of sleeping in for over 16 hours, missing exactly 2 claim cycles. Pretty unfortunate but being up all the time does this to you.
The most craziest thing about GO? $PART has been pretty stable at $1 per! It is almost as if $1 is the peg for the token. Liquidity is constantly inflating every day but many of the top players are not willing to let the token drop below even 2 hive for the past week or 2.
What is ROI? I don't think people on the front page of the leaderboard knows what that is.

Botting is not allowed but multifarms are. Mechanics are constantly put into place to make sure game is balanced, nerfing @angrychipmunk1 when he is so far ahead in the game, and the holy war between The Iron Faith and YGG Brawlers where @Yixn holds the title of Machine God? Few battles breaks out daily as The Iron Faith goes head on with @yixn the Machine God Imposter.
Many new contestants arrives as days past by. I am slowly getting pushed out of the teens into the twenties by new faces such as poprevolt and even @yabapmatt!
I was taking lunch money from Matt when he was top 50. Now Matt is taking the lunch money back from me daily as he rose to #8.
Before I go,
Is @yabapmatt attempting to dethrone @angrychipmunk1 from first place? Only time will tell.
