Backfire ability - An extensive overview

Ability description

The ability I'm looking most forward to in Chaos Legion is: Backfire!
Let's see the description:

If an enemy misses this Monster with an attack, the attacker takes 2 damage

Advantages

Backfire is a wonderful skill against melee and ranged attacks. In case of a miss the attacking character received 2 damage to it's health! Yes, it currently ignores armor!
I have seen no counter ability working against this skill at the moment, like Magic Reflect, Return Fire, Torn, Shield or Void.
To add to this the characters with this skill are fast and often have a supporting ability like Blind
Chaos Agent can have Phase , so he can backfire magic monsters as well., Evasion or Flying .

These summoners can hinder the backfire characters:

Vera Salacia (in case the backfire character has flying)

Counters

The best way to counter this skill is by decreasing the chance to use it. Let's check the abilities:

	True Strike	Monsters with this skill always hit their target making Backfire obsolete
	Slow	If the enemy is slower, it is easier to hit them
	Snare	Nullifies the flying ability
	Swiftness	If our characters are faster, it is easier to hit the enemy

Best combination is if we have Slow and Swiftness on our side, as we will most probably hit our enemy, and the first to go.

And now let's see the rulesets:

	Aim True	Melee and Ranged attacks always hit. In this ruleset only Chaos Agent has some chance to use his ability against Magic attackers.
	Back To Basics	This negates all abilities, the speed of the cards can be still helpful
	Explosive Weaponry	Backfire cards can be damaged by the blast
	Reverse Speed	The fast monsters with backfire can't evade the slow attackers with speed only with abilities like Flying or Evasion

Unfortunately I don't have the resources to make sure that I will have a monster with backfire ability, but hopefully one day I will get there. (perfect xmas suprise for me, if anyone is interested ;) )
