#2 Weekly Challenge
THEME: DARK HA'ON
Edition: UNTAMED
Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: DEATH
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: Taunt & Flying at level 1; Scavenger at level 2; Void at level 3; Magic Reflect at level 4
Why should you consider using "DARK HA'ON"?
Simple Reason = You got me repeating myself, it got 5 skills
Strategic Reason
~ In this 2nd battle I'm about to show makes use of only 3 of its skills and even though the other 2 skills got left out, DARK HA'ON still proved very useful for the team.
ENTER BATTLE :
Also a glimpse of what I am thinking and not thinking when picking my lineup
Here are the Rules for the Battle
Mana : 50 (An almost full force setup because of high mana)
Up Close & Personal* : Only melee monsters can be use
*A special occasion where even if DARK HA'ON is not the position 1 and would waste its attack damage, it is still a lot of help mainly because of this skills:
~This is to make the enemy target this monster, and since there is a high chance that most enemy backline monsters would likely have Sneak or opportunity, it is a good way to divert the attention of the enemy team to DARK HA'ON
~And because only melee monsters can be used in this battle, his flying ability can do wonders and make enemies targeting it miss a few times.
~Chomping on the remains of the fallen in battle, it will increase its hp, and because of this skill, he can be a secondary tank if the 1st position monster died
Lineup Positions :
Summoner : CAMILA SUNGAZER
- Choosing a Melee counter to lessen the fighting force of the enemy.
1 = BONE GOLEM
- Its a melee battle, the armor and repair would do wonders for the team.
2 = DARK HA'ON
- Placed in the 2nd position, let it flap its majestic dark wings to bewilder the enemy team and focus on it instead of your backline.
3 = THE VIGILATOR
- A monster with a cheat code against the ruleset, have 2 types of attack and still considered a melee monster, place in third position in case the tank and DARK HA'ON give up on battle. Thorn skill is useful since it is only a melee battle.
4 = DRAGON JUMPER
- Great damage dealer with opportunity, destroying those that are left on the verge of death.
5 = SAND WORM
- Great damage and with sneak ability.
6 = SPINEBACK WOLF
- Protection against enemy with sneak in case DARK HA'ON give up. Can also be useful in endgames if there are only 1 or 2 of your monsters are left, and also with thorn ability
COMMENCE BATTLE
ROUND 1
Click image above to watch Replay
Enemy got 2 monsters with sneak (as expected) and a monster with taunt too. Luckily I got DARK HA'ON to distract enemies sneaking
ROUND 2
The enemy monster with taunt fell, it got overwhelmed with 3 heavy hitters. My Bone Golem is clutching its armor and hoping it is enough to last the battle alive
ROUND 3
My Bone Golem fell but his sacrifice is not in vain, it is nutrition for my DARK HA'ON and will take revenge on the whole enemy team.
ROUND 4
DARK HA'ON is in the frontline and will eat the house kitty. A flying majestic cat soared through the enemy avenging its fallen comrade.
RESULT
Even in this battle, I finally ended my lose streak.
~
~
Most battles won with DARK HA'ON would be because of good positioning and good anticipation of what will happen in battle.
