The next PeakMonsters Update will include a couple of new features
The first and the one @peakmonsters is most excited to unveil is a change to the "Change Price" tool.
Now, this functionality has always existed. The 'Problem' has been two-fold:
You had to have the Active Key to use it
the second issue is related to the first- because the Change used the Active Key, you had to "Confirm" every transaction through KeyChain.
It, was a pain. Once the update is applied you can use the 'Change Price' tool to just.... Change Prices on any number of cards at the same time, without needing to Confirm, OK each and every one of them.
When this goes live- it's all one operation, smooooth. Select cards, Change Price from the RENT drop-down, set new prices, Confirm.
@asgarth and his whole team at @peak-monsters did a fantastic job on this tool!
The only 'issue' I've had when using the tool is during the "Setup Rent Fees" step: the difference between unchanged (old) prices and updated (new) prices is..... subtle
If you look at the prices circled in black- they have been updated, whereas the prices circled in green, haven't. The difference is the arrow- showing you that you've changed the price and which direction you took it.
The Second Change
coming out in the update... isn't really a new feature, it's a simple enhancement that will make the process of mass listing cards.... easier.
That's right- everyone's favorite game of "Where's Waldo" called "Spot the 0" is going to be a LOT easier from now on.
You see, PeakMonsters and Splinterlands wouldn't let you list a card if the rent was 0. In some cases, when pricing 20, 30, 700 cards at the same time- you'd miss one, or there wasn't a comp for the 'Set Low Price' tool. In those cases, you couldn't "Confirm" your prices and list those cards- until you had found and corrected the 0 rent.
Once the update is applied, every 'unlistable' card will be highlighted in red so you know instantly which cards need to be fixed.
I have to say, I like both of these but for right now I'm actually more excited about the highlighting unlistable cards than the upgrade to Change Price tool.
Although the more I use it, the more it is growing on me. It takes a... 5-step process and condenses it into 2, which is fantastic.
You could make your own solution to the change pricing thing with scripts and greasemonkey or something. I know enough to know you can do it, just not how to yet.
Thanks for sharing. Going to make alot of lives easier.
Yes! Spot the 0 in mass listing/price changes has been such a pain this is a huge improvement.
YES!
As I told @asgarth: I like a good game of "Where's Waldo" as much as the next guy BUT it gets old, quickly.
Lol it does. Especially with how rental prices have been all over the place its been a daily battle of do I have the patience to change prices again or just let it go another day.

Work?
Part of the team?
Let's just say I'm an associate.... a business associate.
I'm, probably, the biggest Cardlord in Splinterlands and as such, I spend A LOT (a lot, lot) of time on PM. I work with them on some updates, testing and suggestions.
But no, not employed by them.
very cool!
