How funny that my acct is used as an example in another post. :) Since it was a tourney, it wasn't me playing against bji. My account would lose most of the time since I don't have all the cards, but even if I did, I would still likely lose.
He does have all the cards, and plays both offense and defense. Just a good player overall! I have no clue on scripts and all that but a player has to be extremely good to get all these consecutive wins.
Don't worry, there is no need for justification. Everybody knows that you are a great player, and of course you are able to beat @bji1203 in single matches. :)
I know myself how it feels not to own some urgently needed cards in certain decisive situations. For example I am lacking four out of five two mana summoners at max level (and Prince Julian anyway), and concerning the five mana summoners I only own Prince Rennyn and The Peakrider at max level. Furthermore my fire and water splinters are rather weak ...
To choose your game (which you even didn't play yourself) was pure coincidence.
However, considering his over all performance, I think that currently @bji1203 is simply the best Splinterlands player.
I would have lost to him even if it was me playing! :)
I didn't even realize you don't have those cards. Your Peakrider is goldfoil though so definitely awesome for gf tourneys!
I feel the pain about the cards though. I made do in rank without any of the legendary summoners for the past seasons, but decided to treat myself to rennyn and val this year. Streak winning is important in making it in top 50 and it's simply hard to do that without all the cards. Not impossible, but definitely hard. There are some rules I know are auto-losses without having the cards.
I don't mind being randomly chosen. I just thought it funny since Matt selected a match between him and me in one of the post about development update. :)
Good luck with season end!
Yes, from the beginning I specialized on gold foil tournaments, however, nowadays there are quite some players with way more complete gold decks than mine.
You are just so popular ... be happy about it. ;-)
Thanks, mine was bad, but congrats to your high final rank!
