Splinterlands TV (SPLTV) is a series of 24/7 live streams packed with Splinterlands content, enthralling community engagement, interactive battle challenges with live streamers, and much more. But even with all they already have on offer, they have decided to crank it up a notch as they introduce a new wave of fun and excitement lapping over the SPLTV shores. FOMO FEBRUARY
Day five is underway and the madness continues
Today marks the 5th day of Fomo February, an initiative launched by the Splinterlands TV stream team that has viewers and participants riveted to their seats as stream after stream delivers a wild selection of monstrous giveaways throughout the month of Feb, and I decided to get a first-row seat and check out the action for myself.
And what an experience it was indeed!
From the moment I tuned in, the welcoming sense of excitement was almost tangible, and the true sense of community that has formed the foundation of Splinterlands since it was first created shined through in the live chat with every moment that passed. Topics of discussion ranged from upcoming in-game Splinterlands features, commentary on ongoing live streamer battles, notable tournaments & brawls, and useful Splinterlands-related tools, to general pleasantries and battle advice. And while all of this was going down, legendary giveaways were dropping like hotcakes on a cold winter day.
These giveaways included numerous legendary cards that were distributed to appointed streamers participating in Fomo Feb, and formed part of the 400 legendary cards that Splinterlands TV set out to give away throughout the month, over and above that, there were also tons of other freebies to be won.
With every delightfully entertaining stream boasting with high levels of anticipation, excitement, fun, and information, it comes as no surprise that the participation and chat engagement is through the roof.
Another thing that I can say stood out clearly during the Fomo Feb streams that I have watched so far was the endlessly creative ways in which the streamers merited the giveaways. While some prizes were granted to active audience members on mere luck of the draw, others were distributed through whimsical games and fun-filled activities. I really do take my hat off to the marvelous execution of this event on behalf of the streamers. And might I throw in a huge 'attaboy' to @r0nd0n from SPLTV for the intricate involvement and organization that went into making this amazing event happen, without the dedication and commitment of you and your excellent team, as well as the support of the Splinterlands community, none of this would be possible.
