Hello and Welcome to a new Episode of my Splinterlands Fanart Series.
Today we will take a closer look at "Quora Towershead"
The Lore:
"...“Quora,” he said, “your mother and I have grown old, and our hope is nearly lost that a male child will be born to carry on the Towershead name. If you enlist in this new Gladiators’ combat, you will become a celebrity in the eyes of the world, and you will someday find a powerful warrior mate and fall in love.”"

The Card:
Do this card really need an introduction?
This legendary gladiator card from the earth splinter is probably one of the strongest cards out there. You can get her from Gladius Packs.
At lvl 1 it has already 2 magic and 2 melee dmg + bloodlurst ability whitch increase dmg +1 and in addition this card can heal herself!
Only one thing left to say: Go and fight Brawls to earn Metris, open Gladius Packs and cross your fingers!
The Art Style:
All Gladiator cards have this unique art style with a more simple coloring approach. Her character design doesn't particularly catch the eye, but her facial expression speaks volumes. She laughs in the face of the next fight!
...Now let`s jump to work!
My goal for this Fanart was to stay close to the original and incorporate the armor and character details into my style.
Here is my interpretation of the "Quora Towershead"

I recently started uploading videos on YouTube. If you like it, I would greatly appreciate any kind of feedback over there 🙏
Lets take a look at the Illustration Process:
The first sketch i do is always very rough. It is only a guideline for me what shape and proportions my illustration will have.
In the second step i work on a clean sketch with some more details. This two steps makes it easy to finish a clean and detailed lineart.
Now it's time for adding the shadows in a new painting layer. First working on big shapes then working on smaller ones and blend them all together.
Now its time to add the colour pallet in another layer. At last step the very important highlights and effects are added and everything is polished with much care about details.
•All painting work was done on Ipad with Procreate.
•Video editing done with Luma Fusion
Until next time!
