I had one of the most frustrating experiences in my Splinterlands battles yesterday.
I engaged in a battle with this dude @Greenzone and he did the unthinkable. Hahaha
Dude, WTH? How did you think up that damn lineup?
Let me explain...there was a catch in this battle, it is one of those battles where there are either rules or pecks available for that particular battle and this one happened to be one of those where you start with two extra armor on all your monsters, in addition to their default armors. Phew!
So this dude basically put up one battling monster and 5 healing monsters behind him. How are we supposed to do any damn battle bro?
He had Mother Khala as summoner, then he lined up The Shieldbearer then Warrior of Peace, then Divine Healer, then Baby Unicorn, then Armorsmith, then Truth Speaker.
All with the ability to heal both life and shield.
Fucking Hillarious.
Good thing I had Mylor Crowling as my summoner, then I had Nectar Queen then Oaken Behemoth, then Earth Elemental, and then Khmer Princess.
I am probably giggling right now because I won that battle, I would have been raging because that was one damn frustrating strategy. He was banking on the healing abilities of his monsters, I banked on the longer health and the attacks of mine.
In the end, the monsters tired the fuck out and were killed by fatigue while I had the last man standing.
I think I was lucky to win this battle because I didnt exactly pick my team to counter my opponent because I dont think I checked his previous battles to know Monsters he liked to use.
I think I had 99 Mana and I selected the best fighters I could think of.
Thre things tipped the battle to my favor, (1) My summoner gave my monsters the thorn effects which helped me kill his first monster quicker than it would have taken (but it did take long though) (2) Then two of my monsters had magic powers too which targeted the enemy life instead of the shield (3)Two of my monsters had a combined Melee attack of 6 which gave his healers a lot of work to do and ultimately they fell short.
In the end, it was a remarkable battle, up there ahead of the only three times my battles have ended in DRAW(didnt know that was possible until it happened)
I wish to never meet you in battle again bro.

Mylor Crowling is really a fantastic summoner... it's become my favorite one.
Well done with the lineup.
