Survival Mode
is a new mode where you can use any card Modern or Wild but when a card is defeated in survival mode, it will be unusable elsewhere until the cooldown period is over or the season ends. You will Earn SPS in this mode after past around the 200 rating and currently the earning are insanely high compared to others modes as there are few people playing it:
With around 2000 rating you could earn 174 SPS per battle:
With around 3000 rating you could earn 519 SPS per battle:
Survival Mode Strategies
End of Season: The cards have a cooldown to revive but they also revive at the end of the season, so when the season is about to end you could spend all your energy you want in the normal modes and them go crazy on Survival Mode using all your cards even you main ones as they will reset when the season is over and you can use them again.
Main Decks If you play normal modes regularly you could disable this cards to not be able to use them in Survival Mode by clicking the green symbol In this way you don´t need to worry for losing a card you want to use later in normal modes:
Always Check opponent previous teams: even though this is kind of important in all modes but we may forget it in normal modes, but for Survival Mode this is Vital if you don´t want to lose so much cards.
Surrender: After checking the opponent previous team, you may release that you can´t win against some or all of his teams, you may want to surrender in this case, I was able to do this but if the surrender option is disable in the future you can submit just a level 1 summoner and 1 level 1 unit to avoid losing one of your strong teams as you will lose anyway.
Rent several cheap strong teams: Instead of renting several of the same maxed out decks and spend an insane amount of DEC you could rent some low level strong teams, some of this teams can even defeat some maxed out teams with low mana cost or in certain rulesets, examples of this teams Level 1 Scarred Llama Mage plus level 1 Krom or any units with Self Heal ability, this is incredible strong on 17 mana battles or less, other example Sthispa plus Phantom of the Abyss Phantom will dodge most attacks and you can go with higher levels if you find them almost as cheap, it should be even cheaper at the beginning of the season and can become expensive or hard to find when the season is about to get over.
Rent Gold Foil Cards: you probably are on survival mode to earn some big amounts of SPS per battle, well you should use some affordable Gold Foils to earn a highest percentage of SPS, not only that, the Gold Foil ones have half the cooldown when they die, plus the increases in earning if you have this 2 facts in mind the gold foil is probably cheaper than the regular one, make your numbers and take the best deals.
Get the best deals by renting at the beginning of the season: If you are planning to play a lot of Survival Mode you may want to rent lot of teams at the begging of the season according at how much you are planning to play, pick several copy of Summoners, rewards cards and core cards that have very low cost, if you are a little crazy you could even try to get all cheap cards so you opponents will not be able to rent too much cards as they will be quite expensive, this is a lot more effective right now as soon there will be a lot more cards on Seasonal Rentals since normal.
