We are in Week #10 of 2025 so another update on my goals for 2025
However since last week I have decided to change my Goals for 2025. Originally my Goals were:
100 HIVE
400 HP
20 HBD (staked)
3,000 SPS
10,000 ZING
Since being on HIVE now for 2 months in 2025 I have realized those are not viable or good goals based on my interaction with the blockchain so I am changing them now.

These new goals I think better align with what I can realistically achieve in 2025.
What am I doing to even obtain those numbers?
- Writing on PeakD is first and foremost as this is a great way to earn HP and HBD.
- Playing Splinterlands. I am starting to realize that the staked SPS is the way to go. Luckily I staked a little over 1,000 before I stopped playing 2 years ago so I have a decent foundation to work off of.
- Rising Star, this isn't bringing home the bacon by any means but its more so an idle-ish game.
- Crownrend, I have great hope in this game taking off and being a very good earner for my HIVE stash.
- Holozing, Right now this is purely passive staking earnings. But once the game launches we will see how much it will benefit my overall goals.
I am not looking to take on anymore games really as I am already spread pretty thin. But I do enjoy the games I playing now as well as posting here so I hope this year continues to be a good year on HIVE for me.

Think about renting / buying at least a max bronze deck to be more competitive so you can earn more sps and glint, you will have an advantage over all players playing with only level 1 cards 👌
It's a slow grind but it's a snowball once you get it moving
I just checked and renting out a Chaos Legion deck would be 1,013 DEC.
As someone who is playing in Modern and only 1,500 SPS staked, I have basically no way to earn DEC. I am not sure honestly how anyone does it except maybe rich people with a lot of SPS staked to earn good amounts of SPS passive to swap for DEC.
But with cards costing DEC and even Wild Format costing 2,000 DEC. I just have no idea how people afford it lol
Maybe down the line I can but then again by that time a new set will be out and I need to save my DEC to buy those packs lol ugh
Join the blogging challenges and invest that in to buying cards (or renting them but I dislike renting myself)
Yea it's not a cheap game, I put in a small amount of money every month, that is just recreational money what other people would spend in a bar
yeah I am reinvesting what I earn posting on Blog back into Splinterlands and it's working so far but the struggle is real to get enough SPS staked to earn a decent amount of passive SPS to swap to DEC or put in Liquidity Farms, etc

as long as you stay in Bronze, 1000 SPS is enough, for Silver, it increases fast
AH crap, I just got into Silver 3 last season and I have been trying REAL hard to get into Silver 2 this season but with only 1,500 SPS I guess I will stay in Silver 3 lol
