Thank you @yabapmatt and @aggroed for this opportunity. I'm grateful to do something I'm passionate about: helping the team and the community.

I'm willing do my part to help us achieve our potential.

We are a fantastic project with an amazing community, all we have to do is execute and great things are possible!!!

Welcome to the Splinterlands team. This increased my confidence that Splinterlands would be going on the right direction moving forward.

awww, that's a very nice thing to say Mavis! Thank you so much and I appreciate the confidence :)

ps... I'm glad you are here!!!

Congrats 🎉 officer.

thank you mrdani! :)

Congrats Dave! Been a little out of the loop and personally wasn't too pleased with many of the decisions as of late, but I consider this really good news. Remember we had a brief chat back when you were running the spring tournaments with wax prizes. I believe your heart is in the right place and honestly want what's best for the game and its community, good luck in the next step of this adventure 🤞

Thank you Riandeuk, that is a very nice compliment. I remember our chat too! I'm thrilled to see you remember our tourneys on wax, that was a lot of fun :)

I also am glad that you stuck around even though you might've been frustrated. My goal is to harness our strengths and solve our weaknesses. I think there are great times ahead and I'm thrilled you are still here and will be on this ride with me!!!

The real McCoy.

Congratulations! I think you will do a great job. Your heart is in the right place.

Initially my focus will clearly be on the attraction and retention of new players

This is exactly what we need to see at the moment. Most of our current issues will be fixed if we simply had more active users. I have seen that the conversion rate from signups to Spellbook has almost tripled over the last year. We are on the right track.

INLEO is developing more ways to onboard users and eventually they will be made open source. Combine that with what Leo Merchants can offer (a protocol that use HIVE-Engine, @mayaprotocol and later THORChain, Chainflip and Rango to act as a cross chain DEX) it is possible to create a smooth user experience from signups to spending what they earn.

Best of Luck!
