Hello Splinterlands community, summoners old and new. I'm dc3ntr4lzd here with another post about some play tactics that I find extremely useful and deadly when activated.
These are abilities that are passive in nature, but this doesn't mean that they are less effective nor less deadly. And they mostly depend on the play of stats between attacking and defending cards to determine the chance of getting triggered.
One such ability is the Backfire. This ability is triggered when an opponent misses a ranged or melee attack which results in that card getting hit back with damage.
The more speed the card has, and the greater difference between attacker and defense, all add up to the effectiveness of the Backfire.
Another passive ability that pairs extremely well with Backfire is Flying. These two combined, plus speed are the perfect mix for a sure-fire dodge killing card that will make any missed attack pay with some Backfire damage.
