in #splinterlands3 years ago (edited)

Earlier today we wrapped up our 1st $kelp + Canna-Curate Splinterlands Tournament and it couldn't have been more climactic! There was a huge field with many fierce competitors but in the end @gaposchkin took 1st place with a record of 26 wins 2 losses, truly a skilled Battle Mage! Congratulations Gaposchkin, enjoy that 2,000,000 $kelp, hodl it wisely!

This has been such an amazing experience being able to give back to the Hive and Splinterlands communities, we $kelp family members want to thank all 275 Splinterlands Battle Mages who came out in support of $kelp and Splinterlands, we love being a part of it all and will have the 2nd $kelp + Canna-Curate Tournament up tonight! We look forward to seeing an even larger turnout for this tournament as we are upping the prizes as well as giving more people spins on The $kelp Wheel of Fortune!

We're so excited about being welcomed into the Hive family that we're going to give 10,000 $kelp tokens to everyone who upvotes this post! Along with that every upvote will be put in a raffle for a chance to spin The $kelp Wheel of Fortune! Contest will end Thursday February 3rd at High Noon with the wheel spin taking place shortly after!

We're keeping the good times rolling! Or should we say spinning?😎

Also question for the community: Would you Battle Mages like to see some live tournaments? Or sit and plays?

I think it would be really cool if there was a big livestream event for the tournament but if it is not going to be turned into livestreams then sit and go is probably best for ease of play.

We will be live streaming as soon as we are able! So this is certainly doable! That will also allow us to perform spins on The $kelp Wheel of Fortune live as well 😎

Looking forward to that!

I'm quite new to tournaments, so it was exciting to hold the #1 spot for a while before getting knocked down to #10!

Thanks for organising, Kelp staff, and I look forward to the next one.

Also new to PeakD. Not sure if the heart button is the upvoting that you're referring to?

Hopefully I did it right.

Absolutely! On peakd there are "upvotes" (likes) and "downvotes" (dislikes), thank you for taking part in the tournament you performed like a veteran! We look forward to seeing you in the next one!🖤

Just finished upvoting! I still prefer sit and plays cause of my busy schedule hahaha but a live tournament is awesome

We appreciate it, thank you, and you've been entered for the spin chance on 2/3 at Noon!

Knowing my crazy schedule between work and life, the anytime tournaments work out best for me. I can only make live tournaments with occasionally and usually it's a last moment entry.
