While all of this sounds great there is a big problem nobody is addressing and just saying they are too busy to fix it now or lately that it has been voted on and will stay this way and not change... The guild costs over $165,000 USD to upgrade to level 10 so before all these guild upgrades and other things can happen we should address the lack of new player retention since we nerfed their rewards by 90% can we give them access to a guild? A simple fix, reimburse cry babies who claim they paid alot to upgrade theirs then change the cost to be a USD cost paid in DEC not a DEC value which is the dumbest thing a game can do if they do want problems scaling... Apologies if my comment seems harsh yet I am an investor here and have plans to cash out a majority soon after much of this craziness goes down as I see a bubble if the masses do not stay to play and it becomes a rich kids club. My last post I even tagged @hardpoint and should have included @aggroed and more... Not saying I know it all, I only spent the last 20+ years working various meetings backstage for much larger gaming companies yet I did pay attention sometimes and new player retention is a much bigger issue than most think. Also someone replying to the app store comments would be great...

Hi Dynamiccrypto. I've been away so I'm just seeing this post, but it's so well-said. Thank you for comments about it. I do see them working hard to solve problems, but yes, perhaps the player retention that is one which has now been created. I'm not sure. We'll have to see what happens. I just thank you so much for writing your comment. If you want to chat sometime, I'd love to hear more about thoughts. :)
As an investor I am eager to pull out more and more profits from splinterlands and move them to new projects with big upside potential since until now you are the only person to seem to care. The rest I have encountered said basically... cash out bye bye, we don't want to change things here so kick rocks... The players voted and things will stay the same... etc..
I only play this nerd game as an investor to see how best to earn yet in real life I work meetings for various corporations including Eve Online, WoW, E3 gaming and have listened in for years in their meetings about growth, strategy, marketing and legal issues... and new player retention and growth coincide with one another and is a very big deal early on. The fact that my pleas for help answering the comments in the app stores just days after release have been ignored and still comments pouring in with tons asking for help yet nothing... Also building your game in a well thought out manner to scale is very important in which we seem to want to ignore like pricing things in the crypto instead of giving it a USD value so the coin can moon and the players can keep playing without problems... yet here we are cost $165k to upgrade guild buildings to level 10 and told to leave and cash out if I don't like it...
And btw... going back to your comment, I'm quite impressed with your resume! ;) That's really awesome, Troy. I hope SPL is improving things, but perhaps it's gone too long now. I'm not sure. I really hope it continues to grow as I have invested myself into the game and the community so much and I like to believe in good causes and I feel like SPL has the potential to be a good cause if that makes sense? :)
Yes, I understand. I'm a very new player with only a little voice so I don't know that I can get someone to listen. I have had some experiences as well that disappointed (though not regarding Splinterlands directly I'd like to add), and I just hope my little voice will be combined with some bigger voices and then perhaps we can work together to help others. It's hard to make your way into something that is established, but haven't you been around for awhile with them? I started a few months ago myself. I will see if I can get some word to some of the bigger players about the comments on the app store. That's really not good if no one from SPL is responding there.
Thanks for trying! together is how we can make this thing more successful, if the big money does not care about growing the game then...
I started playing just over 2 months ago now, I did sign up 3 years ago when it was new and steemmonsters yet never played or invested... #regrets
