Today is the December 29th, so I can imagine this is going to be my last post of the year, so thank you all for providing support to keep doing this and to @nozem01 who introduced me to this platform called @peakd.
The Splinterlands team doesn´t want us to rest during these days and they have proposed us a new Community Engagement Challenge: We have been asked to share how 2024 has been playing Splinterlands and also to share with the community our plans for 2025.

2024 - What an amazing year👌
The Splinterlands team has been working very hard this 2024 and has been delivering lots of stuff to us players:
1. Rebellion Card set: One of the most epic moments of this year has been the new release of Rebellion. With this new card set, new amazing card combined with new abilities have been released. One of the things that I love from this game is the meta changing ability (Well, the summoner TOFU will always be meta, but this is a different discussion 🤣).
I have spoken several times on my posts about her, but I have one favourite card in this game and I would like to introduce her. She is Olivia of the Brook. I own her at lvl 2, so she has the amazing and game changing ability called mymic. She can learn new abilities during the battle, so be sure you can protect her!
2. The new WILD PASS: The Splinterlands team introduced also the WILD PASS, that means basically that you need to pay 2000 DEC to be able to play in Wild format each season. I consider the amount defined by the team as OK. I am able to earn that amount via blogging, so no issues for now.
I own some very nice "OLD" cards from the Beta and Untamed card set that I love playing. This is one of the main reasons. It allows me to combine the best of the two worlds. Yes, the best of both worlds 😎.
As an example, I would like to share with you an amazing battle that thanks to the Halfling Alchemist (A Wild card) I was able to win.
3. The new Ambassador Program: The Splinterlands team is working very hard to attract new players into the game. With this new program, the team is encouraging us players to go out and try to find them. I prepared an blog entry about this new Ambassador Program where you can find a lot of information.
AMAZING BATTLE - DAVID vs GOLIATH 👻
Maybe I haven´t mentioned it in my posts, but I am an active Splinterlands player with just one account, so I play ALL my battles manually.
This means that I have a lot of remarkable battles, but I would like to share with you the battle I call DAVID vs GOLIATH. Just having a look at the summoners you will know why:
My enemy was using WAKA SPIRITBLADE, a Death summoner that costs approximately 200$ on the market today. It is an amazing summoner: For only 3 Mana, all your team gets the POISON ability. You can check on the amazing battle I fought and as per the Bible, I was able to beat the Beast called GOLIATH 😁 with my nice lvl 2 Astral Entity.
2025 - HERE WE COME 💪
The coming year 2025 is going to be amazing for the game and for all Splinterlands players. I have set 3 clear goals that I would like to share with you on different game areas:
1- Rebellion set improvement: Since the new card set Conclave Arcana was announced for April 2025, I have started preparing myself for the future Modern format. I have been adquiring some meta cards that I have been sharing on X like my lvl 2 AKANE or my lvl 2 DAARG DEADBLAST.
I am planning months ahead to capture all these meta cards at nice prices by putting bids at @peakmonsters. Once I am able to get one of these legendary cards, I love to share them on X with all the Splinterlands universum.
2- Achieve the 50k SPS milestone: I joined Splinterlands in August 2021 and since then I have been able to get nearly 26.5k SPS. I know it isn´t too much, this is why I need to keep pushing and playing all different Splinterlands battles.
I participate in different Tournaments (mainly low league ones) and I participate also actively in Brawls with my Guild where we are getting approx 30 SPS per Brawl.
In the last months I have been investing in cards, but I am also planning to invest some money in SPS. In the last couple of weeks/ months the price of SPS has raised, lets see if we can keep the momentum and also make some virtual benefits (I HODL all!🤓).
3- Get more followers on PeakD: Another goal I have set to myself is to increase the number of followers on @peakd. I have started blogging on October 4th this year and I am participating actively since then. I have also participated in some challenges proposed by @thepeoplesguild. In case you haven´t read my posts yet, you will find them here.
So if you are an active reader or you read my post for the first time, I would appreciate a follow. You will help me to achieve my target 😅.
I would like to finish this post by giving THANK YOU to SPlinterlands and to the whole Splinterlands universum, as it provides me the already famous 3Fs: Finances, Friends and Fun! Lets keep building this game together and sharing to the world what we can do
