Hey Splintermates, what is going on? Here is Estebam back with a new post. We are like ants, working on a weekly basis to share with you some amazing Splinterlands content.
We have been asked by the team to share with you some of our best strategies, so this is what I am going to do. I like to keep them secret, as some of my strategies are really nice, but I love also to help other to improve their gameplay.
But before that, please let me share with you some nice news! Today I have been able to claim from 1800 rating up to 2200 rating. This means, that I have received 2 times rewards due to League Advancement.
There have been a lot of merits, but also 4 BCX of a GF Broken Earth Thug. A nice card for my Guild Brawls, specially for low mana battles!
ULTIMATE EARTH COMBO in WILD
I would like to share with you my ultimate earth deck combo that I love to play specially in low mana battles. Basically, it is a combination of 3 cards:
FAILED SUMMONER
The Failed Summoner is a super good tank for low mana battles and it has also the magic reflect ability, that provides a very nice counter in case the enemy has magic damage. 6 Health for 2 Mana is a very good and the card is also available in all ruleset, such as little league, keep your distance, rise of the commons and others. This card is very versatile and powerful if you combine with the following card.
MOXIAN REBEL
Well, what should I say about this card? This is one of the most OP cards from the Rebellion deck. The Martyr ability provides adjacent units with no attack +1 magic attack. Remember this ability, as it is the key of this combination. Additionally, this card is a neutral card, so it is available in most of the rulesets!
LURKING PUFFER
The 3rd card of this Earth combination. This card gets at lvl 5 the silence ability, that reduces by 1 the magic damage of all enemy cards. It is also a common card with 5 health points and only 2 mana, what makes this card a decent tank and very versatile.
OBSIDIAN
To boost the power of the Martyr ability of all these 3 cards, using the Chaos Legion summoner Obsidian provides a boost of +1 Magic attack. This combination requires just 12 Mana. And finally, you could add the Earth fiend.
As a resumee, we would have the following:
- Main tank with magic reflection
- -1 Magic attack due to silence
- +1 Magic attack to ally units
If you have more mana, you can add cards such as Djinn Bjilka or Goblin Psychic.
ULTIMATE EARTH COMBO WAS COUNTERED
Yes, my Splintermates. In most of the posts you will find how the combination is successful, but in my case, I am going to show you how I have been countered by @kid.miniatures. First of all, GG mate🤝!
It was just the perfect combination to put in place, 18 Mana and Keep Your distance ruleset. No legendary cards were allowed and only 4 cards. So I could put in place my perfect combination and also Goblin Psychic. Nothing could go wrong! Or, maybe yes? To follow in detail the battle, please go to the following link.
There is NO PERFECT STRATEGY in Splinterlands
Putting the combination of Thaddius Brood with Chaos Animatior was GG for him. The additional Magic attack provided by Obsidian has been countered by his death summoner Thaddius Brood and the Chaos Animator has Void ability. This means, that my combination was going to do 0 damage. And only my Goblin could hit him every round with 1 damage.
In addition, he placed a very strategic Rebellion card that would finally get his WIN. He placed the DAIGENDARK HUNTER in the backline and he will hit my only monster that could hit his tank.
No chance to get the WIN in this battle, but thanks to @kid.miniatures I have found out a new strategy. Thanks mate I will see you soon at the battlefield! I am ready to beat you.
