This week, I would like to share with you my biggest milestone in this game so far. As you might have seen on X, I have been able to reach DIAMOND 3 in MODERN format.
I started playing this game in August 2021. I always loved card games, when I was a kid, I used to watch on TV YU-GI-OH. After school in Germany, the TV show was running on TV, so after having lunch and doing some homework, I used to watch it together with my mum and sister🤓.
The card art was excellent in 2021, this was one of the things that attracted me to this game. And also the Play to Earn boom with Axie Infinity. I started playing and I got more and more involved with the Splinterlands Universe.
One of the first cards that I bought was the ETTIN SPEARMAN, a ranged unit with 8 Health points. At that time, I wasn´t aware of the big X and PeakD community, so I learned all by my own. I put this ranged monster on the first position and I was wondering why he wasn´t attacking at all, as he had 3 ranged attack 🤣.
Another card I bought at the very beginning was the MOLTEN OGRE. As you can see, I loved the FIRE deck and the big tanks. The art work of the card is amazing and has 11 Health points combined with 3 Melee attack.
I started also learning the different abilities that the game was offering. In this case, Molten Ogre has the Demoralize ability, that reduces by 1 the melee attack of all monsters.
The game has evolved a lot since then, in a positive way and I am already looking forward for the next change in Modern format, when Chaos Legion rotates out. I have been preparing in the last couple of months and have been adquiring some nice Rebellion cards. Lets see if I am able to claimb even higher 😎.
WAKA vs LORKUS
To celebrate this milestone, I would like to share with you the battle that took me there. As per the title, you will see to amazing and super strong summoners fighting against each other: WAKA SPIRITBLADE vs LORKUS.

ROUND 0 - AMBUSH ROUND
I just recently bought CHAOS JAILER, a very nice card with AMBUSH, OPPORTUNITY and POISON. This card, combined with Lorkus, gets and additional melee attack, so alone in the ambush round, I am able to kill the first time his Weirding Warrior. The battle starts very well 😎.
ROUND 1 - STILL A LONG WAY 2 GO
Most of my cards have benefited from LORKUS. There is a big boy called BARASHKUKOR at the back with 6 Magic attack that combined with the AIMLESS ruleset, he will be shooting everywhere with all his power. And there are also 2 monster with the poison ability, that they could hit anyone on the battlefield😝.
ROUND 2 - ESTEBAM IS PROGRESSING WELL
After Round 1, all my monsters all alive and his Venka and Weirding Warrior have already been defeated. This looks promesing😏.
ROUND 3 - HARD FIGHT🤜🤛
Several monsters from both teams have been defeated, but my Barashkukor is still alive and continues hitting his units. He also still has his Barashkukor alive. However, my Barashkukor will hit first😍.
ROUND 4 - WE ARE ALMOST THERE🤠
I still have a lot of units alive and some of them haven´t been defeated once, so I still have a lot of damage to provide to his units. The chances to get the WIN are very high. DIAMOND 3, here we come!
ROUND 5 - GG MATE 🤝
As you can see in the picture, I still have an army of units on the battlefield and it is going to be a WIN for ESTEBAM!. @davethegreat GG mate and well played. I love WAKA and I am sure she is going to give you a lot of wins!
