NEW YEARS EVE REBELLION TOURNAMENT
The @spsdao has organized a very nice tournament called "New Years Eve Rebellion" where everyone could participate. And in addition, there were no entry fees, so what else can we ask?
This tournament has some special particularities:
1- All Modern deck cards are available to all players 😎
2- All cards are at Max level🤓
3- Rebellion packs are available for players between 1 and 100🤑
Can you imagine how crazy this is🤣🤣?
Before I start analyzing the unexpected results, I would like to mention that my deck is high silver/ low gold, depending on the splinter. This means that I don´t know the Diamond League meta 😅. In any case, let me show you current standings.
ROUND 2 - CHECK🤙!
As you can see on the picture below, I have been able to make it to round 2! Is this not amazing😜? To be honest, I wasn´t expecting to get that far, over 400 players have participated in this event. I have been able to beat one monster player called @ghostlybg. I have already chatted with him on X, he is a very nice guy🤝 and I wish him good luck in future tournaments!
There are still 18 hours to go in this tournament and I have 13W and 7L. It looks like I am going to be able to make it inside TOP 100, but there is still a lot of work to be done. There is a chance, I know it🤘.
Before I show you a very nice battle I have won, I would like to thank you to Splinterlands and the team and I am encouraging them to organize more often these kind of tournaments. They are super fun and some players like me, we cannot play on a daily basis with these monster cards like Heloise the Hollow, Eternal Tofu or Riklauniman. It´s just super fun, THANK YOU TEAM🙌👏!

I would like to share with you a battle from Round 2 that I have been able to win against MONDROID from the Immortal Gods.

Round 1
As you can see, we have both chosen the same tank in the front, Inevitable. He provides tanking and also additional support habilities like repair or Triage. In my case, my plan has been to heal Heloise on the back by using Triage.
I have also picked Quora, one of my favourite card I can play on a daily basis. She was available in this battle thanks to the ruleset.
My plan was also to add two martyrs next to Quora, so she gets +1 in each stat after a Martyr monster dies.
Round 2
Tofu has started inflinging some damage to his Melee cards like Riklauniman and my Heloise has started also applying her debuff ability called Soul Siphon.
Every time Heloise resurrects, the ally monster with more health gets the Weary ability inflicted and the max health gets reduced by 50%. So it is a significant debuff. Now, lets see how the battle evolves after round 2.
Round 3
The combination of Tofu with Heloise keeps doing struggle and her Delya and Iziar have been taken down. The max health of my monsters has been reduced due to the ability explained before, but the team is resisting. It looks like we are going to get the battle.
Round 4
My team keeps resisting the battle and he has less monsters to fight. You can see on the picture that nearly all my monsters have received the Weary ability and basically Heloise is the only one doing damage. But thanks to the Spite ability, every time she gets defeated, she counter attacks with 8 damage and she cleans the battlefield!
I dont want to extend much more the post, so you can see below that is has been a big WIN for me against an amazing strong Splinterlands player called MONDROID. GG mate and see you soon on the Battlefield🤝
