Hey Splintermates, what is going on this sunday?
It has been a super rainy day in Spain, so I have taken some time to review @thepeoplesguild challenge proposal and I will provide my input.
Our colleagues are proposing us to think what we could do with the big amount of Rebellion packs that the DAO is holding:
Your task is to come up with creative and practical ideas for how the DAO could leverage these assets. Whether your idea focuses on player rewards, community events, economic stimulation, or long-term strategic planning, we want to hear it!
However, before starting the post, I would like to note that my Guild mate @nozem01 has taken already some excellent ideas, so in order not to include his same ideas, I am going to propose new ones.
HERE WE GO WITH THESE PACKS 🤠🤑!!
1- Leaderboard rewards
Currently there are some Leaderboard prices for playing in WILD and MODERN ranked formats. I consider that the DAO could encourage even more the fight for the Leaderboards by adding part of these Rebellion packages. As DEC prices go from Rank 1 to Rank 50, it would be worth to add some of these packs from Rank 51 to 100. I would only include these packs in MODERN format, so people try to improve their decks by buying or renting Rebellion cards 😎.
2- Affiliate program
I am aware that the whole Splinterlands universe is doing a massive work to attract new players into the game. The DAO could use these Rebellion packs by rewarding players who are attracking players. The DAO could give X amount of packs for each new player that an affiliate player is bringing into the game. In that way, both the game and the current players benefit. TEAMWORK 🤝🤜🤛.
3- Tournament prices
The DAO is already holding on a weekly basis several tournaments, both in MODERN and in WILD. As per my proposal 1, I consider that these Rebellion packs could be included as part of the prices for MODERN tournaments. It is again a game that benefits both, the game and players. If you want to win these packs, you will need to have Rebellion cards. So players will be spending money for Rebellion🙌.
4- Land rewards
I note that recently I got one totem after harvesting in Land. Why not use these Rebellion packs to encourage people to keep investing and playing in Land? If you have X possibilities to win Rebellion packs by staking Rebellion cards into Land, people would include this possibility into the Land strategy🤓. Why not earning a nice Rebellion pack after harvesting some grain or SPS? I would love that.
5- Most viral post on X
To improve the visibility on X, I would propose a weekly challenge and give away X amount of these packs to the TOP 3 most viral posts of Splinterlands on X. In that way, players would try to create even more amazing posts on X to get these packs and get more viral on X 👥🗣.
Last, but not least, I would give away to ESTEBAM some of these packs due to being so active recently 😋🤣.
Joke aside, I appreciate a lot these type of challenges, as Splinterlands player are encouraged to think outside the box and provide amazing ideas. I hope I have provided at least one good idea for the DAO and if not, I thank you @thepeoplesguild for letting me share my thoughts on this topic!
