I was just about to make a post about how when my ECR was 50% I was getting 4-5 DEC per win and I took a break and let it recharge to 100% and my last win just earned 1.6 DEC... (break was about 2 days) I guess there are more factors that go into calculating the reward

Hey double check that again. Because I had a low DEC rate in Bronze II but came back a few hours later and the amount had been adjusted and more DEC was in my account. So maybe the same has happened to you.
just double checked, you can see my IGN Fixxer and my last battle was 1.611 payout
Exactly they made the system to favour the big players and left the others to suffer.
They need to redo this because it will effect new players and will lead to negative comments on different platforms .

Mainly to make you buy more cards so as to be in the bigger leagues and earn more
