Splinterlands Card Giveaway
Each week I host a giveaway for one of the original Reward Edition Splinterlands cards. Most of these cards have been out-of-print for almost two years, so new players can only get them in the market, and that can be pretty expensive. These giveaways are a way to help players build their deck for free.
Last week's prize was this Exploding Dwarf card.
Now that the post has reached the end of the seven day point of payout it's time to spin the wheel of names and find out who the lucky winner is...

This Week's Giveaway
For this week's Blast From The Past Giveaway, I'm giving away another card from the original set of reward edition cards, a Creeping Ooze.
Like the Furious Chicken, the Creeping Ooze has proven time and again that you cannot take a low Mana card lightly. Many a match has been won because the Creeping Ooze slowed the attack of an enemy monster or perhaps even more often, sacrificed itself so that a powerful monster could live to win the fight.
Even with the recent price correction on Splinterlands cards, the cheapest Level 1 Creeping Ooze card is still $3.00 on the Splinterlands market. That means it is worth many times the 15 DEC you would get from burning the card to extract the DEC locked within it. So don't even think about sending this card to the burn tanks!
If you are just starting out and haven't been able to add a Creeping Ooze to your deck or just need another one to level up, then you should get in on this giveaway. The Creeping Ooze card will be sent to one lucky winner when this contest closes at post payout time.
If this Creeping Ooze card doesn't fit in with your master plan for Splinterlands domination, or if you lack the skill and wisdom necessary to achieve victory with it, you can always rent it to someone else or try to sell it in the market.
How To Enter The Giveaway
For a chance to add this Creeping Ooze to your Splinterlands deck, just leave a comment. Be sure to add your Splinterlands account name if it's different than your entry name. Only 1 entry per person. The contest will end at the 7 day point of payout for this post, when I will use the WHEEL OF NAMES to choose the winner.

I never start a battle without renting Creeping Ooze. Purchasing it this time is still a challenge for a small player like me. Just used my SPS few days ago to purchase at least 4k collection power.
