Splinterlands Card Giveaway
Each week I host a giveaway for one of the original Reward Edition Splinterlands cards. Most of these cards have been out-of-print for almost two years, so new players can only get them in the market. These giveaways are a way to help players build their deck for free.
Last week's prize was this Exploding Dwarf card.
Now that the post has reached the end of the seven day point of payout it's time to spin the wheel of names and find out who the lucky winner is...

This Week's Giveaway
I am pleased to announce that the card for this week's Blast From The Past Giveaway is the Undead Minotaur.
The Undead Minotaur card was a largely overlooked and under appreciated monster when it was first released because it just didn't have enough power to be a tank. But since the addition of some of the new Rulesets like Super Sneak, Equal Opportunity and Melee Mayhem the Undead Minotaur has gained a whole new lease on life as a powerful second rank attack monster. Leveled up, he can deal a lot of damage in those rulesets while being protected by a sturdy tank.
Since these cards have been out of print for a while they have risen in price significantly. The cheapest Level 1 Undead Minotaur card is currently $0.36 on the Splinterlands market. That means it is worth many times the 15 DEC you would get from burning the card. I'm glad I kept my Undead Minotaur cards safe and didn't burn any of them.
If you are just starting out and haven't been able to add a Undead Minotaur to your deck or just need another one to level up, then you should get in on this giveaway. The Undead Minotaur card will be sent to one lucky winner when this contest closes at post payout time.
If this Undead Minotaur card doesn't fit into your master plan for Splinterlands domination, or if you lack the skill to achieve victory with it, you can always send it to the burn chamber and extract the 15 Dark Energy Crystals locked within, but you'd be much better off trying to sell it in the market or rent it out and gain a steady income.

For a chance to add this Undead Minotaur to your Splinterlands deck, just leave a comment. Be sure to add your Splinterlands account name if it's different than your entry name. Only 1 entry per person. The contest will end at the 7 day point of payout for this post, when I will use a random comment selector to choose the winner.

:D I won! Exploding Dwarf is such a fun card, I usually rent a gold one or a Level 3 for really funny bum-rush stupid offensive fire teams, and to great effect! This happens to be my first copy, I will cherish it! Thank you!
Minotaur is one I've personally bought, & I can attest that he is especially useful in Divine Shield modifier battles, where he just nopes their divine shield. Situational, but very nice to have!
