SUMMARY
GS function as a decoy depeneded which position it's placed. To determine which ruleset and position is beneficial, a collection of battles are shown. The results demonstrate GS as DECOY will increase the survival chance of team. AB resurrect ability on GS may also benefit the team survival chances as shown [battle 4][battle 7]

INTRODUCTION
When the Chaos Legion entered the Splinterlands through the rift in Mount Praetorius and laid to ruin the great castle of the Gargoya, many of the stone gargoyles fled across the sea and scattered to other continents. However, some remained in the rubble, searching for a way to rebuild their kingdom. These became known as Scrappers.
Scrappers despise the Chaos Legion for destroying their home. Now, they seek the knowledge to create more of their kind and, using what they learn, build more Gargoya. Across the Splinterlands, they have established workstations to grow their numbers and advance their culture, creating Gargoyas of countless sizes and varieties.
Their ultimate goal is to avenge their fallen brethren, rebuild their home, and see to the defeat of the Chaos Legion.
GS as decoy allows attackers to attack it while diverting attention of main unit. Deploying GS provides ample time and opportunity to cut down opponent's forces. In the current battle replays, I analyzed 7 battles where GS is placed as decoy. The results demonstrate that GS decoy will increase the survival of my lineups and dealing significant amount of damage to opponent's lineup

GS rarely positioned in tank role, as secondary position GS can lure enemies with opportunity to attack it. At lower mana battles, GS can be deployed as tank position if no other unit is available.
