Reward changes had been announced quite some time ago but now it is really here!
Let's go through the new update and I will give some of my opinions

Starter Cards
Now that new season has started, starter cards will no longer provides value when players play them. In other words, the more starter cards you use in your lineup when you are in a match, the lesser the reward you are going to get. In return, players will be encouraged to buy cards in order to get their respective rewards that would in turn increase the value of the cards on the market.

Daily and Season Rewards
The reward system for Daily and Season rewards has been changed. Instead of completing quests and earn your respective number of chests, for example 3 daily chests for Silver II and then call it a day. Now they added a new mechanism where you play and win to accumulate points. For daily quest, it is called Focus Points.
每日和賽季獎勵的獎勵系統已更改。而不是完成任務並獲得各自數量的寶箱，例如 Silver II 的每日 3 個寶箱，然後收工。現在他們添加了一種新機制，您可以在其中玩並贏取積分。對於日常任務，它被稱為焦點。
Just like the daily quests last time, you will have to obey specific rules to complete your quests. In this case, you are required to use Earth team in order to earn Focus Points and once you reach a threshold, you will earn 1 chest. Your Focus points bar will be reset and you can fill it up again to get another daily chest reward.

You can gather quite some number of chests even if you are in the lower ranks as long as you have the patience and skill to play and win using the required teams to earn those points. Also apparently, all the bonuses that you get from Gold foils, consecutive wins, etc from last time will also applied in the chest reward points too!

As mentioned, the same thing goes to season rewards, when you played enough and win your matches, you will receive Season points. When you complete each "level" of your progress, you will gain 1 season chest. At the end of the season, if you played enough, you can get a maximum number of 150 loot chests in a single season.

The awesome thing here is that any player, in any rank will have the opportunity to earn the maximum number of chests, which sounds very exciting for me and gives me more motivations to keep playing it. The only difference here is the higher the league you are in, the higher the value of the rewards you will get from the chests.

Previously the amount of chests are being capped by the ratings that you are in. For example, me being in Silver II I can only get 15 chests maximum every season so that kinda sucks, but now everything is improved.

Here are some of the rewards that you will get from your chests based on your ratings. Also a thing to note is that Bronze chests will no longer contain CREDIT, they will include DEC rewards instead.

More Changes
- Quest Potions no longer exist and those who possess it will get refunded with DEC.
Quest Potions 不再存在，擁有它的人將獲得 DEC 的退款 - A new ability called Reflection Shield will be added, it makes character immune to all indirect or reflected damage. That means that it will not take damage from Blast, Thorns, Return Fire or Magic Reflect. (Can't wait to try those out)

Conclusion
This is a great change and improvement for the game, not only it increases the value of the cards on the market, it also increases the motivations of players to thrive in the game and play the game. It seems like there will be more revamps on the way in the future and I cannot wait to see them go live!
