Hi there!

This week challenge is about:

ARMORSMITH πŸ”¨πŸ”¨πŸ”¨

Nice PROMO card, that uses most of its power already at level one: the REPAIR ability, so strong in LIFE splinter and its armored summoners.

Leveling him up gives to this guy also a nice attack, quite useful in some rule sets.


Card analysis

Life is the Armor splinter, so a monster able to repair armors (for only 2 MANA) is essential.

Card usage

Armorsmith is amazing if paired with protect monsters, armoring summoner and armored up rule set. While Wizard of Eastwood and rust or piercing monsters can ruin its plans.

In healed out rule set is the only "recovering" ability available because triage, heal and tank heal are off.

An armor continuously recovered can be particularly annoying on monsters defending backlines, against for example snipers or sneakers. And here we come to the battle!!

The Match βš”οΈπŸ›‘οΈ

This battle is not only about Armorsmith. Of course he plays a crucial role, but is definitely a team play, solved in the end by the summoner itself!

This is it. ARMORSMITH vs ARMORSMITH, Sneak tactic vs front tactic.

Well, Enchanted Defender has not enough attack to kill the self-healing angel of light (and thorns is useless against her). At the same time NO SINGLE ATTACK is made against him. So my Armorsmith is able to focus its repairs towards the Cocatrice, on the back line:

Opponents sneakers were really good, but My Cocatrice (pumped in speed, health and armor, then repaired) resisted this way:

The GIF is really long! 23 rounds exactly! Let's do some math: Feral Spirit has 40% chance of hitting, elven cuttroad 30%.. A single hitting is pointless, because of armor repairing, and each turn a 12% of both hitting.

You see how the repair was essential and avoided a fast winning by the opponent.

Then the game evolved in a really funny way, driving me to an astonishing WIN BY FATIGUE (thanks Mother Khala)

      Whoa! That gif is awesome!
      And the Cockatrice! I remember how favored he was before the Furious Chicken. I think I forget about him. And with all the buffs!!! It's basically impossible to catch!
