Who are your main tanks for Water element? Do you still rely on Chaos Legion to carry your games? What will you do once you're only allowed to use Rebellion and the new set?
It's nearing the release of the new card set now. When that time comes, the Chaos Legion will be pushed out and Rebellion and the new Conclave Arcana are the ones that will only be allowed in Modern Ranked Format. If you're overly relying on Chaos Legion units and summoners, this would be a good time to get introduced to new units that may be the foundation of your new team. Enter, Giant Alpine Skink!
Let's talk about… Giant Alpine Skink

Alpine skink are mostly found in the pine forests of the Northern Highlands and up to the alpine zone of the adjacent Agniavas. These enormous lizards grow to over six meters in length and have a thick, armored hide and preternatural agility.
They make their dens in rocky cracks and crags and emerge to feed on plants, mountain goats, and other beasts… as well as the occasional adventurer who wanders too close.

Right now, the market is lacking any options for Giant Alpine Skink except for level 1 for $0.11. This is because to get the card allowed to be sold, the players must unlock them for a set price for a limited time. This makes it very hard to put it in the market because they had to factor in the price of the unlock on top of the price the other players are willing to buy them for.
Giant Alpine Skink is a bit pricey for a common card but this is because he is an unlocked Soulbound unit that you can only get from rewards. There's one on the market now for a max level for 84 DEC per day which has all the abilities unlocked for 84.06 DEC per day.

Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health. Weak Magic Rule set gives this unit protection against magic attack by allowing his armor block magic attacks. This giveshim extra protection against magic attack that is not affected by Shield.  |
All units have Knock Out (deals double damage if the target is stunned). Knock Out does double damage to stunned units. Since Giant Alpine Skink has Stun, this allows him and his other teammates to do double damage to that unit after Giant Alpine Skink stuns it.  |
Only Units with Melee attack may be used in battles. Up Close & Personal rule set only allows melee units to be played. Since Giant Alpine Skink has Shield that halves all melee and range damage, he is very useful in this rule set.  |
| Avoid using it in... |
Units with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. Phase relies on Speed. Giant Alpine Skink's high speed backfires during this rule set which means not only he would attack last but also will miss more of the times than normal.  |
All units have Opportunity (targets the enemy unit with the least health). This rule set can be both good or bad. This rule set will allow your Giant Alpine Skink to survive longer since his high health would not be attacked because of Opportunity ability. This makes him a bad tank and everyone bypasses him to attack units lower than 9 health first.  |
All units gain True Strike (attacks will never miss). While Aim True rule set can be good as your units will be more consistent, your enemy's attack will also be consistent. This is bad for Giant Alpine Skink because this negates the effect of Phase and his advantage for having high speed.  |

Battle Strat: Since there would be an Equalizer Rule set, I used units that have high attack on my team. To counter the enemy using the same strategy, I used a lot of units with defensive abilities like Void, Shield and Life Leech. The original plan was to have Wave Brood gain Prophet Rosa's Shield to make him sturdier as my team focuses their entire team down from the front.
Battle Summary: This was a funny battle because I won even though I wasn't able to apply Prophet Rosa's Shield to Wave Brood due to my internet lagging at that time. I still got a win by using a lot of Void and Shield in this team making this one of my most durable team up to date.
