Are you ready some fresh new treant themed units? Imagine the possibilities of tree units beckoning at your every call? In this post, let me show you some of the cool ideas why treants are a must in every game.

This would be the first of probably many treant-themed units that I would do for Splinterlands Art Challenge. I really like the idea of treants especially for Earth element which I find lacking a lot. We have a lot of fungi-like creatures but not a lot of those that resembles treant monsters.

With the recent release of Kindred Spirit and Kindred Will abilities, it would be nice to make add a more thematic cards in the game. For example, I am thinking its abilities could be a set like if you use two ancients or more, "Treant" abilities would activate giving all "Treant" units Camouflage abilities. After all, you cannot simply find a treant in the middle of a forest.

If I were able to make it work, I am planning to have these creations of mine and Splinterlands clash into battle creating an art like Ancient vs Mycelics. This would be an interesting addition to the lore and concept in Splinterlands.

Final Prompt:
Create a massive treant-like creature. This treant should be huge like a mountain. Its body is made of twisted, ancient roots and bark resembling a really old tree. Its body is covered in patches of moss and vines, with small glowing mushrooms placed randomly on its body.

The treant's arms resembles thick tree branches with vines and leaves hanging from them and smaller branches extending out like fingers. Its eyes are glowing green orbs set deep within cracks in the bark giving it a wise yet intimidating presence. Its overall feel should be like an old wise treant which lived ages ago making it the first ancient.

The background should depict an ancient forest filled with huge trees. Add a river in between the treant's legs. Make the river appear small in order to enhance the treant's height and size.

The Ancient Rootwarden is the main tank. Its huge body taunts every enemy to focus on it. His large stature makes it very obvious that it would take the front line to take damage instead of its peers. The massive body, limbs and legs make any physical attacks deflect making everyone tremble in fear from helplessness against this ancient defender.

Final Prompt: Create a sleek, assassin-like treant with a slender body made of tightly wound vines and bark. The idea is that it should be built for swift and silent movement.

Its limbs, arms and fingers are thin and sharp, with one arm extending into a long wooden blade, naturally grown as part of its body. The treant has overlapping leaves covering his shoulders to its back resembling a short cloak. The eyes are faintly glowing to give it a deadly, menacing look. Avoid adding any facial features excelt for the eyes. Its feel should be stealthy and quick while blending effortlessly into the forest as it moves around the forest.

The background shows a dense forest with moon light. The trees are packed tightly together. The ground is covered in twisted roots, fallen leaves, and patches of undergrowth but still have a pathway to highlight the treant's whole form.

Treants can be big and stout but the Ancient Nightshade is more focused on stealth and quick elimination of the enemies. With the forest as its territory, any unsuspecting victim can fall against its sword-like arms. Whether the Ancient Nightshade is in front of you or hidden in the shadows, one thing is for sure. You will never see him coming.

Final Prompt:
Prompt: Create a magical treant with a body made from bark and twisting vines. It has a wooden hat resembling that of a witch hat that has a tall cone shape and a wide floppy brim. The hat has a slightly bent tip and has intricate carvings of leaves and vines.

Beneath the hat are glowing eyes that shine through cracks. The facial features should be old and wise. The treant's limbs has leaf-liked patterns etched into the it suggesting a connection to ancient magic. Add a few design on the leg part too. Then, add a long glowing staff as well to make the look more magical.

The background should be a simple forest filled with life. You may or may not add animals but add a variety of flowers and plants. Keep the height of the trees and plants as normal as this treant should be fairly small in size compared to other ancients.

The Ancient Spellbark is the most widely known among the treant-figures. His wise nature is seen from his looks and his whole aura is overflowing with ancient knowledge not known by any man. His earth magic can prove to be not only powerful but tricky as you will be paranoid and confused why once you stepped in the forest, you can't come out.

Final Prompt:
Design a slender, devil-like female treant with a twisted, dark body that resembles that of a lilith. Make its figure graceful looking but shrouded in shadows and mystery. Make its hands elongated branches that extend outward.

The treant’s facial features are fierce with glowing red eyes and mouth. It has awide, wicked smile. Make some of its vines twist on its head resembling horns but more like antlers. The theme should be dark and reddish as it should have menacing presence.

The background should be filled with darkness and horror. The grounds are cracking, the trees have no leaves as if the area is corrupted by malice. Add a few fog to add some mystery.

The Ancient Lilithroot is the most different among the rest. I want the Death element to have its share of power and trickery. What is life when there's no death? The Ancient Lilithroot is one of the old ancients corrupted over time. Instead of protecting the grove, eliminating unsuspecting looters, The Ancient Lilithroot actually promotes anyone dumb enough to be charmed to step into the deep forest as she feeds on both their body and their souls.
