Thrill with a Chill for Rebellion Card Packs

There is no denying that most of the people inside the Splinterlands game universe and eyeing on those mighty monsters in Rebellion packs. This shows that gamers and supporters are always side by side with the game no matter what the economic status it is. This is about how the game progresses and how strong the Splinterlands community as a whole is. For me, I am so hyped for this new launch card set and I am eager to see what possible strategies and tactics will I get from it combining my current card possessions.

I have seen how wonderful the card images are, wherein the artist behind the work is really making sure that they will get noticed by the gamers on how powerful they can deliver to the gameplay based on the strong images within the card. It is so tempting not to acquire some of these packs and add them to your favorites once these cards are fully usable within the card game itself.

Looking at the first image, it is more like a goblin in a mafia outfit. It makes me remember the Godfather movies which I really loved that time. It might be an inspiration of the artist to create this kind of art, but seems like its red-eyed physical appearance makes it more intimidating to look at. It is more like it has more hatred inside it and how serious the better will it be if you plan to mess him out, so just try not to look into its face to avoid wrath. Pretty awesome, how dark the image of this character is when you see it in your first impression.

The second image looks more like an octopus and a mermaid by looking into it. Just can't get the full image of this character but I really love the way she displays her capabilities. By just looking into it, it is a magic attack character based on the spell-like that we can see in her fingers, creating a ball-like something fireball which I think can be really deadly when hit towards enemy monsters. Its costume is also fascinating to see where it actually fits on how her appearance should be like concerning its own abilities and capabilities in handling situations. I am sure the artist really had a good imagination of how it should appear the way he stands above all other creatures.

The third image is more like a ravaged man with the appearance of the well-known personality of Capone. But the figure is really awesome and it was transformed into a more thin build with some strong personality in appearance when we just looked into how he posed. This orc-goblin-like character most likely had almost the same appearance as the first image but it was converted into a more like a non-serious character. I see that this one is more like pillaging and attacking based on the action we can view in its image. Kudos, to the artist who created this kind of character which is also familiar to One Piece Kaido as it has the same stand on how it holds its club.

Now the last picture will possibly be the main image of rebellion as I can see, since it has been the image of this Social Media Challenge. It is great for holding a very powerful scepter or wand in her hands, we know how deadly it will be if you confront her head-to-head. This type of character image figure is commonly used in most MOBA games which ideally fits because of its iconic build. I know that she holds a very large responsibility within the Rebellion and can't wait how the story behind this card set will take place. We may see that she is on the light path, but I may have a mistake because of her demonic eyes. But sometimes, we should not take into pointing it out to something that we are not really sure about. But one thing is for sure she can handle powerful opponents with the use of her experience and capability as a mage. We shall see if it is worth it to root for her as the main icon mage for the Rebellion card set.

NEW TACTICS NEW TECHNIQUES

A sense that these new tactics implemented in the Splinterlands game will truly make a big change in the game on how it will be properly played and strategized. I am really curious about this Dual Element tactic that is being introduced in which you will have the opportunity to make use of the card twice which is not possible I think on the current card set. This is very new and I am thinking now about how it will totally work within the game. I guess Elements now play a big role in how the gameplay works and how to efficiently arrange a very powerful and effective team at your disposal. I can't imagine whenever you blend light and dark elements into one this probably causes a very big impact on the team and it may create confusion towards enemy forces. Let's just see how it really works and how players will able to maximize the usage of this new tactic.

Another great tactic being introduced is the Ability Choice which grants you a choice on what ability should be used at the start of the battlefield. It is quite interesting to see that Summoners will have positive and negative buffs as their ability. Now, it's up to the player on what to choose whether aiming for the positive side towards the team or making sure that negative effects should be cast towards the enemies. Any ability I think is carefully studied by developers and I see that there would be a balance on how a Summoner is being created, just to make sure that it is not too overpowered towards other Summoners. Anyway, another great learning for us players is to experience another level of gameplay.

I see tanks can now have the option to attack from the rear instead of the back which gives the opportunity of not just having damages felt in the frontline but it can now be a deadly monster in the battlefield with its capability of attacking from the rear. This Target Options is another great addition because players are usually putting those weak health characters at the back as always but has greater damage. Now, things can really change with this new tactic as players are now thinking twice in every team creation since they will not only focus on their tanks but also take into consideration the units that are being placed at the back. There will be no more safe positions right now are everything can be attacked, so another headache for players once Rebellion is fully implemented.

NEW ABILITIES NEW OPPORTUNITIES

I really love how abilities are being introduced in Splinterlands as it really changed alot on how the current gameplay works. There would be possibly changes of your favorite teams and units as four new ability additions are added into the game. We have Armored Strike in which not only its armor can be a good way of defending itself but now can be used as additional melee damage. I can sense now how deadly and powerful melee units with this ability wherein you will not see this type of unit as a tank anymore but could be a lethal enforcer of damage and can be a game changer in the game. I see that there will be no more nice guy and being pacifist but it is the time for this melee units to strike back at all cost, which is a very great and interesting part of the game.

Another addition is the Corrosive Ward which I think can be a good anti-armor ability in which it fully focuses on the armor's maximum capabilities. It helps reduce through unlimited armor build which we can see mostly on the battlefield that makes a unit more defensive and untouchable if no magic attack unit opposed it. Most of the tank units will never be safe against a Corrosive Ward ability as it results in a negative outcome in the battle, which might ultimately result to ultimately eliminating the frontline, giving the opportunity for the other team to take advantage of the weaker ones replacing the tank in the first position. Now, we just keep in mind that sometimes tanks aren't effective the way we know it is but we should take into consideration how to blend tanks in the team with well-protected ally abilities so that they won't be easily dried out.

The Flank ability can help boost those units that have no reached attack. Now melee units can be effective with the use of its ally ability flank. Now, it is time for us to use our favorite melee attackers and use them efficiently as they can be boosted with the help of a flank ability that is in your frontline or ahead of your melee. This may create a big confusion at first but slowly as time progresses, we will see that melee units can be more deadly even without a skill.

Look Out ability units can now be a good addition to your team as they lessen the full might of Sneak, Snipe, and Opportunity which has been largely exploited by most of the players, taking down those weak units as soon as the battle starts to spark. Players will now take the chance to use monsters with this ability if they think that the opponent will use monsters with Sneak, Snipe, and Opportunity, which can do great results of the battle. I can see the Look Out ability is one of my favorite things as I can see it especially using magic units with lesser health, for it can withstand most of those sneak damages taken by monsters.

OVERALL IMPRESSION

I like these new tactics and abilities to be added to the game. It will help the gameplay to evolve into a more complex and engaging for players. Another experimenting level will be done by the players to take ahead of their opponents with the use of this set of changes and I dearly appreciate the developers and the team behind this change for it can be a great change in the game's quality and improvement. Overall, I like all the changes that are about to be added to the game and I fully support them. I still looking forward to ahead changes as the game progresses. Thank you.
