Hello, this is my first challenge to the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Weekly Challenge by Splinterlands.
Characteristic of the Dragons
- Dragons are rare but powerful. The highest mana card in the game is the Chaos Dragon (14 mana). Dragons are good in a high mana battle.
- Most of the Dragons have "FLYING" ability which give them an increase chance (25%) of evading over melee and range attackers which do not have "FLYING" ability. "FLYING" is very useful in the "EARTHQUAKE" rule set where non-flying monster will take 2 melee damage at the end of each round.

Battle Rule Set
- Equal Opportunity - This rule set means all monsters have the Opportunity ability. Opportunity monsters will target enemy's monster with the lowest health. SPEED matters in the opportunity rule set. The strategy is to attack the opponent's monsters and kill some monsters in the process before the opponent's monsters can attack.
- 58 Mana - This is a high mana battle. We should have no problem to include any monster that have the high winning rate without restricted by the mana cap.
My strategy is this battle rule set is to select monsters and summoner that are high speed and can evade opponent's attacks.
Dragon Team, Assemble!
My choice of dragon monsters and summoner for this battle:
Byzantine Kitty (Summoner) - Provide +2 speed, True Strike and Tank Heal. This should give my monsters the speed advantage and my monsters' attacks will never miss with the True Strike. Tank Heal shall provide the health sustainability to my first position monster.
Dragon Spirit - My tank monster with Flying and chance to evade attacks.
Dragon Jumper - Fast monster with good damage and Flying.
Desert Dragon - Chance to get a Trample kill and perform another attack on the next monster. This is the slowest monster in my team and should have a high chance to get Trample on low HP monster.
Earth Team Comes to the Assist
Grund - High damage output and Double Strike can be deadly in the Equal Opportunity rule set. It can attack from the back line twice each round.
Mitica Headhunter - High damage and high speed monster.
Regal Peryton - High speed monster with Flying. I got to get more attack evasion.
Battle Begin
Round 1
The opponent put Shieldbearer with Taunt in the first position. It is a good strategy which it effectively negates the Equal Opportunity rule set and force my monsters to attack it. My monster can only look at the tasty Pelacor Arbalest but not able to attack it.
There is no magic monsters from the opponent team. This is an advantage for me as magic monsters will normally always hit the target.
We can see the speed advantage here. Basically, all of my monsters will attack prior to the opponent's monsters. Hopefully, we can kill the Shieldbearer in Round 1 and focus on the low HP monster the next round.
Round 2
My monsters successfully killed the Shieldbearer in Round 1. Desert Dragon got a kill at the Pelacor Arbalest, but Trample did not happen as there is no next monster after Pelacor Arbalest.
Dragon Spirit survived Round 1 without hit by the opponent's monsters due to its high speed and Flying ability.
Round 3
This is increasing looking good for my team. The opponent was only left with two monsters. Grund was doing all the heavy lifting of outputting high damage to the opponent's monsters.
Amazingly, Dragon Spirit continued its streak of evading attacks from the Chain Golem for having a 50% + 25% miss chance.
Round 4
- The opponent was only left with Cornealus in Round 4. We are set for victory here!
- Desert Dragon even showcased the Trample ability when it killed the Chain Golem in Round 3.
Battle Result
Dragon Team got the victory. The battle showcased the powerful Dragon Team when they are being utilized in the right battle rule set and mana cap.
Hope that everyone can have fun with their Dragon Team.
