Terrifying to behold, Deeplurkers are a poisonous fish that dwell at the bottom of the ocean and prey on the weak. However, they are known to travel to the surface in times of dire need. Many believe that they are sensitive to the balance of elemental water magic and, when that balance is in danger, the Deeplurkers rise to attack or defend it.

The Lineup
Summoner
For this challenge I needed a Water Summoner. I went with Kelya Frendul to help give my monsters a +1 Speed boost and a +1 Armor boost. Kelya is a rare Summoner that costs 4 Mana, definitely worth it for the extra boosts
Front Row
With only 13 Mana to work with in this match I needed to choose a monster that could not only take some damage but could also dish some out. The star of the match can do just that with its 3 Attack, 2 Speed, 6 Health and, while it couldn't use it in this battle, the Reach ability also comes in handy sometimes. Costing only 6 Mana, the Deeplurker can do it's job and do it well in a low Mana battle.
Second
With only 3 Mana left I choose the Merdaali Guardian as my second and last monster. With 2 Speed ,3 Health and the Tank Heal ability the guardian could take some hits while keeping the Deeplurker healed in the front row.
Battle Breakdown
I think Obsidian expected me to go with some magic, but I am afraid I disappointed and the front rows Magic Reflect ability went unused. In round 2 after getting a nice heal, my Deeplurker was able to take out Obsidians Failed Summoner. And in Round 3 the Golbin Thief. The Deeplurker took some hits in the next few round and the Guardian was able to heal them all, giving the Deeplurker plenty of time to take out an opposing monster in each round until the ultimate victory.
