It kept my play-to-earn passion alive, even when other blockchain games had me feeling more rugged than a failed mint. Don’t even get me started on Alien Worlds, Wombat Dungeon Master, RPlanet, and the rest... I’ve seen some things!

I have a question... what are you doing with your Glint? Asking because I’ve been torn on this forever, should I spend it on card draws for guaranteed units or rolling the dice on reward chests?
Took me a while, but I finally found my answer and moved on! Speaking of dilemmas... why did the gamer bring a ladder to Valentine’s Day? Because he wanted to take the relationship to the next level!
How efficient is grabbing minor chests instead of buying cards? Spoiler alert: not great. I gave up after three tries! When I went the card route, luck was on my side... I pulled two Gold Foil Rare cards, stacking up to 15,000 Glint in value. That alone made it worth it.
Meanwhile, minor chests? They’ve been a consistent drain. The numbers don’t lie! You usually get back less than what you put in. I’ve burned through hundreds of chests, only to end up in the red. After three full seasons of testing, I made my call... Only spending my season rewards on card draws!
Why? Guaranteed deck upgrades. With at least one Legendary per season, I’m well on my way to completing the entire Rebellion expansion set! At this rate, I might as well start planning a wedding with my deck—it’s the only thing that truly has my back!
So... where's the love and fury I was talking about? It spreaded like wildfire throghout the February season, and with one day before the season end I was two wins away from reaching GOLD II. The target was in reach, and those chests for reaching a new level were blinding my judgmenent.
I decided to gamble again, and tried an alternative method to get extra energy. It was a failure! I didn't want to pay 600 Glint per energy, and I thought will be a good idea to roll the dice and see if I get some from the minor chests! You already know it didn't go well!
I bought 20 chests and spent 4000 Glint for zero results, and the same amout could have been used for 6 energy at the shop. At least the gold foil Ujurak Elder has a 3500 Glint and the Dragon Egg Forager rare card is worth 750 Glint. This time I was on profit!
I spent 4000 Glint and got no energy, however I was lucky when I oppened the chests and end up with a +30% reuturn of the investment. Still craving for energy so the only choice was to hit the shop!
I had no option left so I spent 3600 Glint for 6 energy, and the race against time started! With 6 hours left from the current season, six energy to use instantly, and six more to regenerate... I was on a tight mission!
I lost the first battle, then the second one... and I was now 140 rating points from the tier upgrade! Life is a struggle! However, PVM does't give up at the first setback... because PVM is a positivity beast! So I kept fighting!
All the rewards were decent, but the last three chest were mind-blowing! Got two Shock Trooper cards, 7 Legendary potions and 3 energy... that's 18k worth of Glint! Not a bad day at the office! I invested 7600 into 20 chests and 6 energy and got 4x rewards! PVM is living a remarkable life on Splinterlands!
