It’s time for another Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge, and this week, we’re focusing on knowledge-sharing! Let’s get normies on board and tell about summoner’s tactics!
Our insights have the potential to transform the early days of every new player’s Splinterlands journey, offering guidance and strategies that unlock the game’s full potential.
Let's talk about how Summoner's tactics can change the outcome of the battles, tips on how to upgrade cards more efficiently and then let's explore the new ambassador program!
The summoner tactics play a crucial role in building a winning strategy, setting the stage for how your other cards will perform during battles.
Many Splinterlands summoners provide unique buffs to your team, such as increased attack, speed, health, or special abilities. For example, a summoner like Nidhoggr can lead you to victory!
According to the lore, Nidhoggr is a guardian dragon and custodian of these ley lines. He rose from the chasm in which he’d buried himself, and shook off a mountain of rock and debris!
He learned of the Chaos Empire’s trespass and of the failure to stop them… and he found them both guilty. Praetoria trembled as Nidhoggr stretched his wings! I had to test this bad boy in battle!
Nidhoggr is a powerful legendary summoner in Splinterlands that was introduced as part of the Chaos Legion set. He brings some unique abilities that can turn the tide of battle, especially when used strategically.
There’s two paths to take when selecting this legendary summoner, either giving blast plus deathblow to three units or execution! By mastering the summoners and understanding their unique strengths and weaknesses, you can become more strategic in building your teams and ultimately improve your success in Splinterlands battles.
Nidhoggr is the Rebellion set’s Dragon legendary Tactics summoner. He’s got teamwide -1 armor and -1 health debuffs, as well as a teamwide debilitation.
On the left side, you can give Blast and Deathblow to 3 units, making Nidhoggr nearly on par with a certain Untamed summoner. Only in this case, we’re talking about a Dragon summoner, so you can slap those Blasts and Deathblows on just about any element your heart desires.
And the right side is enough to curl your toes as well: +2 Speed and Execute to 3 units. These abilities pair great with Charge, high damage, and dual-attack units, while the Tactic makes your speedy units even speedier and nigh impossible to hit! What do you think? Which Tactic do you prefer, and how do you imagine using it to gain the upperhand in the arena?
What about better units to match the power of the summoner? Combining cards to increase their levels is a key strategy for maximizing their effectiveness in battle.
While I consider myself a decent player, my path through the Splinterlands universe has been a thrilling roller-coaster ride. The learning curve was steep, with tons of information to digest! But now, I’m ready to give back and share the knowledge I’ve gathered along the way.
Splinterlands cards can be combined to increase their levels is an essential strategy for enhancing their power and overall effectiveness in battle. By combining multiple cards of the same type, Battle Mages will improve their stats and unlock new abilities, making them more formidable in various gameplay situations.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to improve your Splinterlands cards:
- Common Cards can reach level 10.
- Rare Cards can reach level 8.
- Epic Cards can reach level 6.
- Legendary Cards can reach level 4.
Each time you level up a card in Splinterlands, it becomes more powerful, gaining improved stats such as increased health, attack, and speed. Additionally, as cards reach higher levels, they may unlock new abilities that can be game-changing, such as increased damage or special effects that can alter the flow of battle.
The market and Dark Energy Crystals are valuable tools for acquiring the cards you need to level up. You can purchase specific cards or rent out cards from others, which can help you quickly enhance your collection without having to rely solely on rewards from battles.
Owning 78 Rebellion cards now and most of them are above level one! Do you have a different strategy for upgrading cards? What's your most efficient way to combine units and rarities?
The Ambassador Program is designed to reward players who actively bring new users into Splinterlands. By sharing a unique referral link, ambassadors can earn rewards based on the activities of the players they refer.
This program is a significant improvement over the previous Affiliate Program, offering more comprehensive rewards and better aligning with the community’s objectives, as outlined in a recent DAO proposal.
The old one was kind of lame, with useless credits earned for each battle mage that I onboarded to Splinterlands. The new Ambassador Program includes Sliver and Gold reward tiers, each offering different benefits.
All referrals from the previous Affiliate Program were reset. Only new referrals made under the Ambassador Program are eligible for rewards.
To qualify for the Silver Tier you need to refer at least one friend. Benefits include both you and your referral earning 500 Credits when they purchase a Spellbook. Additionally, you will earn 5% of your referral’s end-of-season Glint rewards, up to 100% of your own EOS Glint earnings.
The Gold Tier is special, and harder to reach! You must have at least 10 referrals who have spent $100 or more on purchases. The spending spree can be across primary, secondary, or rental markets.
The benefits of this tier include all the Silver Tier perks, along with a 5% bonus paid in DEC on packs purchased by your referrals from the in-game shop. You will also earn 1% of your referrals’ peer-to-peer transactions, with a minimum payout of 0.001 DEC per transaction
It looks like I already earning from my referrals, and if 4 Glint may look low... this is just the beginning. It's not much but is honest work!
