Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia, In this Battle Weekly Challenge, I am so delighted to share some tips and tricks on how to win Splinterlands single elimination tournaments. The tourney I would like to share now is the one which is conducted by @cryto-zard and @beccss. They organized some kinds of tourneys regularly like 3 - 4 tournaments weekly which are very good for all Splinterlands tourneys to share their battle strategies to improve their skills. Sometimes Zard and beccss also have a collaboration tournament with @jim-crypto to increase the reward prize as he said on twitter. Alright so all of my achievements are shown in the below table :

I am looking forward to play in Gold league maybe next season, the reason is I need to join Splinterlands Gold league Tournament and get the SPS reward to bring my rental cost back. Based on my current staking (7474 SPS) 1600 staked SPS is required to join the gold tourney (eg. Victor's Modern Gold Invitational which has 480 SPS reward for the top 4🔥) so I think the funds will be available next season. Well, This article will explain about the following topics :

- TOURNEY OVERVIEW -
Alright so as usual, The entry fee was 5 DEC, very cheap so that everyone can join. It's a single elimination tourney so you have to win in the default round in order to be go through the next round, and win at least 2 matches in each round and 3 matches in the final round. The card edition is modern, what I like from this edition is that we can use Lorna Shine who is so powerful in low mana battle and some untamed summoners are very strong too, let say Yodin, Llama, Mimmosa, Lir Deepswimmer, etc. in my opinion those summoners are still in the higher level than chaos or riftwatcher summoner. The winner of the tourney got 2000 DEC and the second place got 2000 DEC.
What makes the Crypto-zard n Beccss stream is special is that there a 2 people there talking each other and sometime deliver joke also which makes the stream much more fun. Listening to 2 people is more attractive than just 1 person only (which sometimes looks boring). They also give opinion towards the battle strategy and analyse how the battle was going on. One more thing is that they speak in British accent so it's good to everyone outside the UK (including me) to train my listening ability.

The tables below are showing who my opponents were, along with the pictures of the monsters and summoners we used in the battle, I have linked the picture with the battle so if you are interested on some of the battles, feel free to click on it and enjoy the battle :
1st Battle against @vhiciouz

 | If the same monsters used, most likely higher level monsters will win. Use Vera Salacia with flying monster in Earthquake |
2nd Battle against @kimkckezo

 | Putting Coeurl Lurker is risky if your opponent has swiftness ability and summoner who can reduce speed. |

3rd Battle against @ykyan3

4th Battle against @dipta15092013

 | It's better to anticipate ranged and magic attack than just magic attack only. The tank heal will make the tank stronger |

5th Battle against @slaifer-red-01 (Semi-final Round)

6th Battle against @spjin (Final Round)

 | Void monster as a tank equipped with silence and tank heal ability can counter magic attack very well. |

 | Uriel is a good tank, equip him with 2 repair and 1 tank ability monster will make him immortal. |
- THE MOST INTERESTING BATTLE -
I really like this battle because it shows us how strong Poseidon is. His Blast ability goes perfectly in Target Practice ruleset causing lots of monsters get high damage in the opponent backrow. Second his shield ability is also work very great to hold all of the opponent sneak monsters such as sand worm and Pelacor bandit. The 6 attack from sandworm become 3 only and 2 attack from Pelacor bandit become just 1 damage. The reduction helped me to kill all of the opponent front monsters first before they killed my backrow monsters.
- TOURNEY RESULT -
And... here is the result of the tournament. There are lots of familiar and strong name such as @spjin, @daani, @slaifer-red-01, and @samji. @queen-silvia deserved 2500 DEC after winning 13 matches and 3 loses. all of my loses suffered in the first 3 round of the tournament, I do think that my opponents in the beginning were super hard. As the runner up we have spjin, I've told him that I wish we could met in the final and it comes true 😆. He deserve 2000 DEC with 10 wins, 5 loses and 1 draw. As the third place, we have Daani with 9 win and 3 loses, he deserve 12000 DEC. and at the forth and fifth place, we have slaifer and samji, they both deserve 900 and 750 DEC respectively. For all of those top 5 players, Thank you very much for participating on the tourney and congratulations for the reward.
