Hey man, no problem. Thanks for tagging me here ^^
Hmm, depends on the amount of cards they are going to print. This new cards from the reward edition are supposed to be a chance for every new player to acquire a playing deck, and the high offer lower the prices and incentivize people to combine and burn cards, and also change the strategies of gameplay as well.
Overall, I think its a good idea, because if they release new cards with the same burn power as the previous ones, the price of the already existing cards could drop and that would affect the market. They are protecting the market and the players that have more than a month playing and investing in this game.
Look at it like this. If you need 1000 power, you could buy a untamed legendary card for like $30. or you could buy 2 legendary cards of the new rewards edition (2 x 500 power = 1000 power), for like $10 each (for example).
Maybe you want to buy the $30 card because its useful to your strategy, like, Ancient lich for example. Or maybe you just want the power so you buy the cheaper one.
In two years from now maybe the cards will have 1 power (common cards) on a new edition, and the legendary could have 250 power, but maybe it costs $5 lol so, yeah.. the market will correct itself.. and if it doesn't, the Splinterlands team will make decisions to protect it (hopefully).
I'm glad they add new cards into the game, because it keeps the game fresh and the more people join the game, the more expensive the old ones get, because of the low circulation, so this was great.
Also remember, they could add more packs of cards that have low circulation and higher power, and they will be priced higher too.
