Splinterlands Community Supports Your Growth
When you see the amount of return on your investment, it’s just unreal, and I’ll get to my season winnings in a moment, but first this post will be a bit more personal today, because I want to thank Splinterlands for choosing me as one of the winners in the Weekly Art Challenge! The Splinterlands community is a group of people that truly cares. It’s wonderful to see that everyone is open to supporting one another. That support gives you the security that Splinterlands not only HAS been around awhile now, but will continue to be around for the long haul.

Everyone is SO helpful though, and I don’t need to speak to see all the love and support this community gives to its players. They truly value us. I’m learning a lot just by reading what others are asking and discussing! I highly recommend it.
R.O.I. (Return On Investment)
So I completed my first season, and the results have been fantastic! I got good rewards, DEC and cards, and I was able to purchase more cards from the winnings I’ve made over the season from the Legendary card and DEC I’ve won over these two weeks. I’m well on my way to some GREAT return on my original investment! Here’s a picture of my wins!
I was able to chat with my dad about it tonight. You see, he’s a HUGE stock market guy. He loves to figure the numbers all day long, tells me AT&T’s stock is at 7% right now and "Isn’t that wonderful, Rose?," and I’m looking at him like "WHAT? That's nothing!"
So I asked him tonight, “Dad, what’s the average R.O.I. when you invest in the stock market?”
"Well," he told me "it depends, of course."
So I asked him, “If I get back my return on investment in a couple of months, is that good?”
His mouth dropped open, he paused and sort of chuckled then said “Well, that’s unbelievable!”
I smiled and said "Well it looks like I will, dad!" He then of course wanted to know how in the world I could have such success. I told him about the crypto, and he was skeptical, but that's all right. I'll get him there in time! Ha!
I also forgot to mention to him that I bought some cards today, and I’ve already made 20% on THEM, because the price has skyrocketed!
Looking Back
There were a couple days when I thought to myself I wish I had found Splinterlands sooner, but I quickly swiped that past my mind. We can’t live in the “what ifs”. We need to focus on the now. There is SO much OPPORTUNITY RIGHT NOW in Splinterlands. I don’t need to think about what I could have made, because I WILL BE MAKING it very soon. So I’m going to stay in the light and be so thankful I’ve met such a wonderful community. I appreciate your warm welcomes so much. You really don’t know what’s going on behind those computer screens or other devices, and it’s just wonderful to know I can come here and be my happy self, share about making some money in Splinterlands, and that’s just perfectly fine with you all!
Looking Forward
For me personally, Splinterlands has been a knight in shining armor. I’m going through some personal events in my life, and I’m looking for ways to provide for my family. I had no idea I could be in the crypto world so easily! I had no realization that crypto is not just for the smart folks that know the stock market in and out like the back of their hands. In fact, Splinterlands is so much more than that, you all are practically family now!, and the return on investment is incredible. I feel so blessed to be a part of this group. I’d like to give a shoutout to @just2random for introducing me to this world of all things Splinterlands, and I’m thankful to you readers for encouraging me to keep blogging about my journey just by your support and kind words!
I look forward to sharing this next season with you all! It’s going to be busy with school starting up again, so I might not be making daily posts, but I’m definitely around, and you can bet I’ll be sharing when I can!! Thank you all for being such a warm, wonderful group of Splinter-laddies! :)

I bought some cards earlier today, and within an hour they had already jumped 20%. So yeah I could have sold them for an instant 20% profit, but I buy for the long term, having already seen where we've come from it's a lot easy to imagine this AMAZING future.

So yes... "what can be" is what I'm going to fall asleep thinking about tonight, and there are lots of possibilities. We should always have hope for a better tomorrow, right?! :)

Whole lot of fantastic people in this space; and happily growing by the minute.
I've been hearing "Ah, I got here too late" since just after Alpha packs sold out. People who missed the first few Untamed airdrops; then from people who missed the land sale.
Give it a year, and there'll be a heap of people amazed that you were in the game before Chaos Legion even launched.
