Let's Recount One of Splinterlands' Greatest Historic Battles with the Dark Ha'On

The Dark Ha’On remains the most powerful shapeshifter of all the Ha’On, changing into a large flying cat when its powers are called upon, but be careful if you meet it on the streets in human form. The Dark Ha'On is such a smooth operator. It can take hits while the others gather their strength in numbers around, and it uses its dark, beautiful, mystical eyes to lure you in then slice through you with its claws.

I would venture to guess a few of you have met someone (or heaven forbid, even dated someone like this kind of bewitching creature! HA!) similar to the Dark Ha’On and know EXACTLY what I’m talking about here! You don't want to mess with this one, folks! You become mesmerized by their charms, the way they waltz into a room, stare right through your soul and let you come after them with all your might, only to find they’ve destroyed you, worn you down, and you’re surrounded.

Let Me Show You What I Mean In This Battle

Drake of Arnak summons together his team. As you may know, he’s a Dragon hybrid and while the High Council has demanded he share the secrets so they can understand his powers, he keeps to himself, protecting his team with additional defense.

Of course the Dark Ha’On leads the battle but is surrounded by the Haunted Spirit, who sweeps through the night, restoring energy and outlasting them all! The Skeleton Assassin sneaks behind enemy lines, quietly offing the last monsters before anyone is the wiser. The Creeping Ooze, most assuredly brought to life by the famous Halfling Alchemist, together whip up a concoction, slowing down the enemies but have no effect on their own legion. And one cannot forget the Furious Chicken who attacks with such ferocious might people aren’t sure to be frightened or laugh!

Meanwhile Lyanna Natura is anything but quiet. Her high-profile means everyone is quite aware of her abilities to speak to the animals, monsters and all, and strengthen their health by her song. She has a magical way about her that can sweetly lure the savage Failed Summoner and Child of the Forest out of the woods to attack the enemy when necessary, as was the case in this battle. The Goblin Thief then attempts to steal all which is precious, hiding all sorts of weapons under their shawls, so much so you must ask them to greet you with open hands or you can’t be certain about their quick reach inside their pockets! Meanwhile you’ll find the Khmer Princess casting spells next to Earth Elemental. This Princess who lost her homeland so long ago and travelled so far is no stranger to loss and fights with all her power to keep what is hers now.

Certainly such a battle should be written in the great annals of Splinterlands, for there is no match more powerful than that against the Dark Ha’On! Why would such a lot be gathered together?

Why This Strategy with the Dark Ha'On?

Well, the Dark Ha’On is quite powerful on its own; however, it needs the power of Drake to provide extra protection as it faces so many villains! The Haunted Spirit was meant to support the Dark Ha’On. You see, all attacks would be magically forced upon this great, majestic shapeshifter as it transformed into a cat, gliding through the sky, and all of the opposition would collectively aim their powers upon it. The Haunted Spirit needed a divine power of healing to follow up such a creature as the Dark Ha’On! The Skeleton Assassin could sneak in as well, and the Ooze and Alchemist would quickly whip up the magic necessary to slow down those opponents who were trying to attack the Dark Ha’On!

Was the Strategy Successful?

It was! Who could possibly beat such a noble creature as the Dark Ha’On? You could hear the sad cries in the night as this might, majestic cat bravely accepted the attacks round after round, weakening the opponent who would then fall to the rest. Yes, the Dark Ha’On sacrificed itself for the good of the team, and the Death Splinter rose victorious for it!

As you can see, the Dark Ha'On lasted until the middle of Round 4, wearing down the opposition so that all the cards that followed it would be very successful in a victory!

How Do You Feel About the Dark Ha'On Now?

Oh it’s a WONDERFUL creature to use when playing the Death Splinter. I highly recommend the power of this monster for your battles. I’m thrilled it’s being honored this week as Splinterlands’ featured Battle Card! I’m certain we’ll witness it’s greatness over the coming days in many, many battles!
