In the past weeks, I have collected enough MERITS to buy 20 Gladius packs and potions and have opened them all. Man... it was a good hand: two legendaries and four epic, including two gold foil epic cards. I will probably never afford to unbind them with the crazy Splinterlands economics, but they will definitely be a good addition in some of my battles, especially forward-looking to the new Survival mode.

I see many of my friends still playing the game, and I'm doing it season after season. But for me, it is more like romantic nostalgia, and I'm not sure I will still spend money to buy the season pass. The economy is broken, and it looks to me that the priority is not to fix this but more to dilute even further the collections of the early players...

I moved to modern instead of paying the season pass. Nice opening. 2 legendary cards are nice and you even got 2 gold foil epics.
Yes, it was a lucky hand! I've burned the gold foils and bought another 20 packs. So, a new post will come soon :-)
