Hello, I am loving that people seem to enjoy me breaking down battles and getting a shot at 1000 DEC. I am going to just be doing one now as it does take a bit. I will say right now this one will be a bit long but watching this battle made me laugh so I have to share it. All you have to do to have a shot to win the DEC is give me some feedback on the post or on splinterlands. I know a lot is coming up. Land, new rewards cards, new items, and spells. The game might look a lot different soon. Also, they did an update to the payout on tournaments I like. Better to get the same rewards if you have the same record. Now time for the battle.
This is the battle I am going to review. If you prefer to just watch it go here that will show you the fight a bit faster. The rules for this battle is earthquake and no legendaries. With a high mana cap and most teams around. I go with the life team. I like the new flyers they have and figured I would go with the armor. My team was ready to set up to try and outlive the other team as earthquake kills them. That is why I put the cube last. The one issue with my idea is my cards a bit lower level. So can it work? Does my lineup look like it has a chance? Well time to see.
It is the start of round 2 and that didn't go so well. I missed a few attacks on his tank. My tank is going to be at 1 hp after the earthquake hits and that is the only reason I am going to hurt his monsters. I am starting to feel silly for using my low-level flyers. I am in Champion 3 at this point and should have used a stronger team.
Round 3 is about to start and earthquake is going to weaken a few of his guys but I am in bad shape. My Melee guys are gone and now I have my low life mage and almost no firepower left. I am thinking this was silly but do see my cube has a very high hp and wonder. Could his self-heal win the game? I decided to watch it.
Wow, I got lucky and killed his Nectar Queen with my last attack with my Griffen before he had to go to the first position. But now earthquake is going to kill two of his guys and move my cube up to 19 life. But I am going to be down to just him soon.
Round 5 starts and the Cube stands alone. He can deal 7 damage a turn. I am not sure what my heal is but we also have 2 earthquakes coming. SO he has only 2 attacks at 7 then it goes to 5. It all depends on how much my heal is on a now 21 life cube.
Okay, so I am still at 19 to start the next round. My self-heal is at 7 this is going to work I start to think. Could I steal and win and get some DEC and ratings that maybe shouldn't have?
Round 7 and I am still at 17 hp and his Prismatic Energy is about to die. After that Earthquake can't kill any more of his guys but he can only do 5 damage.
Round 8 is here and well look at that he can hit me for 5 earthquakes will do 2 and I will heal for 7 so he can't kill me.
Time to jump ahead. Round 21 hits and it is time for fatigue to start to play into the game.
Round 22 and it is up to 2 extra damage so his back row guy is going to take 4 and will die soon. I know at this point I won this game and I am a bit shocked.
Round 23 will be the last for the Earth Elemental.
Round 24 ends a funny game. At least to me. I am wondering what you think? Would you be mad if you lost that game? I am sorry if that was shocking for @moonwwind and thanks for the battle. The star of the battle was this guy.
I think next time I will try to show you a game I thought I would win but lost. I think i never had a battle until round 21. I didn't know about the "Fatigue Rule".

Ya it doesn’t happen often but they can’t a game no ending so at round 21 it starts. Each round it adds one more damage. Thanks for checking out the post
I am really excited about the new reward cards. More specifically I am eager to have the dragon summoner. Summoners have always been a bottle neck for new players. Having them as reward cards enables the players to play high level cards. In my personal opinion once you upgrade summoners to around level 3 the game becomes addictive exponentially.
Ya that new dragon summoner will be nice to have. I hope you get a few early.
Ya I can see your reason for that placement. But I did this to avoid a sneak guy from hurting me. Also with the hope he would become to strong to kill. With scavenge in the last spot I am making sure he gets a HP from each of my guys.
I'm newb on Splinterlands and it's useful for me to recap high level battles. Thank you!
