Melee Attack | 2 |
Speed | 1 |
Health | 5 |
Ability | Reach |
Rarity | Common |
I personally like to use Radiated Brute with Reverse Speed ruleset. Given Reverse Speed and Tarsa as a summoner it is one of the best cards as an off tank in my opinion. Thanks to it's Reach ability.
It is a common chaos legion card therefore everyone has it because it is part of the basic cards. I personally do own a copy of it. As you can see in the table below it is a cheap card as a regural foil and not expensive as a gold foil. There are a lot of available copies at the moment.
If you still want to earn DEC rewards in the future make sure that you purchase a copy of it.
Here comes the battle:
I was in silver 1 at the time of the battle. As you can see I had a nice ruleset for todays challenge.
Rules:
Battle modifiers | Mana cap | Available splinters |
---|---|---|
Reverse Speed | 40 | Fire |
Lost Legendaries | - | Dragon |
So what did I chose to do?
For Summoner: Tarsa it will increase the firendly monsters health by 1 and their melee damage by 1. I chose to play with a melee heavy line-up, so Tarsa seemed the obvious choice, altough I had other summoners.
Monsters:
- Living Lava best (at least I think) widely available tank for Fire splinter thanks to it's Shield ability, and high health.
- Radiated Brute today's challenge card as you can see in the picture I had a level 3 version which is not as good as the level 1 version for Reverse Speed ruleset. (I had it rented at level 3)
- Sand Worm best melee for Reverse Speed which is widely available. It's an older reward card. It's a must thanks to it's Sneak ability.
- Fire Elemental This is the black horse of the battle as it is a ranged monster, but it has Blast ability which is always good. Thanks to Tarsa it has 1 more health so if my enemy brings Serpentine Spy it cannot be killed by 1 shot, due to Disintegrator.
- Disintegrator I think you cannot leave this one out when rulesets favors melee, because of it's Demoralize ability.
- Uraeus it's my own gold foil from daily quest rewards. I chose it for the gold bonus and the Sneak ability. I think it is a vital part of my tactics that I placed Uraeus at the last spot. It is not that big of a deal if it dies.

Did my strategy work?
Yes, I won the battle. Thanks to my high melee damage it was an easy victory.
What will I try differently next time?
Given this ruleset I would not change my lineup. I know that it was a risky tactic, but sometimes you have to risk to win.
Thanks for the reading, I hope you enjoyed, see you on the battlefield!
